ANTWERP, Jun 11, 2010 / — Dirk Bikkembergs, who recently dressed the Slovenian national football team for their official team appearances, has just shot the official team photograph in Brunico, in Northern Italy, where the team was on a training camp in preparation of the South Africa 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Leading up to the 2010 FIFA World Cup, which kicks of in South Africa on 11 June 2010, the Slovenian national football team was recently on a training camp in Brunico, in Northern Italy. Dirk Bikkembergs joined the team at their training location to shoot their official team photograph.

In the team photograph, the entire team is dressed in Dirk Bikkembergs Sport Couture suits with Bikkembergs shoes – the result of an agreement to dress the entire team and supporting staff for their official appearances.

With a population of just two million, Slovenia is the smallest nation to have qualified for the South Africa 2010 FIFA World Cup, where Slovenia will be competing against England, USA and Algeria in Group C. Slovenia plays its first game against Algeria on 13 June 2010 in Polokwane.

When Dirk Bikkembergs took eleven football players into the Andes Mountains in Chile to shoot the 2010 advertising campaign, he was confronted with a world of extreme temperatures and challenging conditions. Seeing the lengths his team of football players would go to in order to stay warm, he pictured his man in a world with even harsher conditions.

Back home, with global warming making the headlines on a daily basis, he felt he had to do a stylistic exercise based on his experiences in Chile: how to apply the princely comfort and elegance of the Dirk Bikkembergs Sport Couture (DBSC) label to this extreme world?

With the AW2010 collection, DBSC confronts its man with a world of epic mountain scapes, and confidently sets new standards in comfort and luxury at high altitude.


スノーマウンテンでスノースポーツでしょうか・・・今、僕の住む地域では、大雪で毎日スコップで雪掘りや雪下ろしをしていますが、こんな格好でスコップ持ちたいです（＾ー＾）
