Although some enterprises have already run the farm in Tokyo by using the part of building such as roof and/or basement of the building, I do not know the example of the full-scale farming like the above projects.

I think there is the problem of the administrative cost to run the vertical farming, but these projects can be one of the solutions of the food shortage and reliability. I want to get further information of these projects.

Subprime Mortgage Crisis Hits the Public J-REIT:New City Residence

Japan's public REIT NEW CITY RESIDENCE INVESTMENT(TSE:8965) announced Thursday that it has filed for bankruptcy protection under the Civil Rehabilitaion Law.

The REIT becomes the first bancruptcy public REIT in Japan. The REIT was incorporated in September 2004 by CBRE Investors and some investors. As you know CBRE is the most largest real estate enterprises in the world. I guess the Japanese directors of the REIT is just "staffs" under the foreign investors...

According to their announcement, total liabilities (as of August 31, 2008) are approximately 112.3 billion yen (US$1.13 billion) and the REIT has no prospects of acquisition funds for the payment due by the end of this month in respect of the property scheduled to be acquired or raising of funds for the payment of borrowings coming due during this month.

Search result exclusions

I am interested in the exclusion from search engine search results. We need to defend freedom of expression. That's why I am studying this subject at Keio University Faculty of Law although I am also a worker (computer system engineer for 20 years).

According to AltSearchEngines reports below that Google has around 90% search engine market share in France (well, 89.98% to be exact!). The next biggest is Yahoo ! (3.17%), followed by MSN (2.33%).
