Finally, I had a house warming party on Saturday!!
It was just awesome!!!
There were more than 15 of my friends in my tiny bachelor typed apartment,
actually I was sfraid of the crowd, and make people feel unconfortable..
but, there was nothing to worry about! My place was big enough, and I think everyone was
enjoying, chatting, eating, drinking....etc.

Everyone brought some food for the party!
Thus it was an international party, we had many kinds of food!
Japanses (Yakisoba, curry, Takoyaki, Oden....) and Korean (Toppo-gi, meat, Kimchi),
Philippino (fruit salad) and Mexican (Nachos), and Canadian cake!
Hmmm, all the food were yummy, my tummy was more than satisfied!!

I LOVE all my friends, thank you for all:)

MY PALACE!!!

Finally, I moved to my new place!!!
From end of last month, I am living by myself in a bachelor typed apartment downtown!!
I love it! It's just perfect that I have a huge room for myself, and wide kitchen with a big counter. I can even eat there! I am so motiveted to cook, whole kitchen is for me!!!
I put the pictures of my room! I hope you all can come visit me!!

Ofcourse, sometimes I feel lonely being by alone, but most of the time, I feel confortable.
I feel it as a good experience to live by your own, make contract, talk to apartment manager, negotiate with someone, connect cable, internet, hydro, all by myself! I can make sure about everything, and satisfied because everything is in charge of myself! It's all my business!

Enjoyed Weekend!!

I went to Whistler with full bunch of Korean friends and one Japanese friend.
Snow condition, weather, friends, everything was just perfect!!
I loved it!!
After that, we all went to one Korean guy's apartment to have drink.
We enjoyed chatting and games. Interesting thing was the game that even though the language is different, we had some similar games!! We switched it into English, and someone who lost had to drink! It is the totally same way to play these games! Interesting!1

And today, it was Chinese and Korean New Year's Day!!
I know that they had festival in China town, but because I was exhausted from yesterday, and it was raining, I didn't go. But instead, I went to have lunch at Korean restaurant, DAE BAK GON GA. One of my Korean friend found a good information for free soup, Tokku. We went there and enjoyed the soup and Kakuteki for free!! The taste was good and the size of the soup was quite big! How generous they are!

It was really busy this weekend, but I had a good time!!
These days, I feel like I am here to learn the Korean culture, instead of Canadian culture. haha.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JUNE

생일축하해, 준태!!! (HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JUN TAE)

왜태어낫니?? (Why did you born??)

못생겨가지구 (Even though you are so ugly)

Hahaha, sorry, June!!
I learned this useful expression from Seo Young and learned how to type it from my Korean friend, Brandon from Sprott-Shaw Community College!! Funny~!!!

Well, I wish I could celebrate your birthday together here or in Korea, but I know it is impossible, and you have tons of friends to celebrate with, so I will wish your best from here!!
Did you have fun for your birthday party??
Anyways I will give you a phone call later to surprize you!
I hope you won't read this web site before that, because if so,
it won't be surprize call anymore! haha!
(I know you rarely visits this web site, so might be no problem! it is sad, though...)

Finally, Maki is gonna leave me tonight.
She will leave Vancouver at midnight, I feel so sorry that I can't go to the airport to see her off. Why did you reserve that late night flight...!?

Well, I guess she was my best Japanese friend since I came to Vancouver.
Especially these days, I talked with her a lot, and we had many fun together.
Even though we had age gap, even though she was impolite to me (hahaha!),
I liked her so much... She was like my younger sister.
I feel sooooooooo sad that she is going back to Japan, but I still can't believe that.
It's so pain for me when I think about my life here without her.

But, I know that she has to work hard for job hunting in Japan,
so I made my decision to support her as much as I can from Canada!
And I'm pretty sure that I can see her in Japan soon later!!

I wish your best, GOOD LUCK, MAKI!!!
