商品券が当選しました

Winning a prize via a post card.

今日は商品券が当たりました。

もうひとつの趣味、懸賞について書いてみました。

時間のあるとき日々はがきを書いているのですが、忘れたころにサプライズはやってきます。

 

 

I have another favorite thing to do since I became a mother, other than doing physical exercise. It's taking part in prize competitions. I apply for them by postcards, which I like better than via the convenient Internet. When I have time, such as when I finish household chores after dinner, it's time to write. I write about ten or so postcards in a month. I have won various prizes over the last months.

 

 

Today when I looked at a mailbox at home, another present came to me. Inside the envelope was two pieces of gift certificate of 2000 yen (about $20). In the photo which I posted, printed on the paper is "JCB" --- one of major credit card companies in Japan. So, there are many shops available around the country. This past spring, I had applied for the campaign called "Frozen Food Festival," which seems to be held once a year. I had fogot the application, but the happy news arrived.

 

As long as my son got to find what I had, I'll decide how to spend the certificate. Probably, eating out? Or visiting a hot spring facility? It's pleasure to use them for the happiness of my family.

You are such a nice mom and a wife! You are going to spend this for your family! If my husband doesn't know me about this, I would probably spend it on either for my son or myself. LOL
