Then, they talked about it a while on the phone, and after that what person in charge in Iberia told me was, "If we can contact with Iberia office in London, and if London says ok, you can pay here in Dakar and re-issue in other place." Pay here, but re-issue in other place? really? I doubt it.. So, I felt like that re-issue will be impossible.. And, even if I would pay here in Dakar but only to re-issue I maybe have to go back to Europe earlier than expected.. And, what worse is, unless I wait until Monday, they cannot contact to Iberia in London so nothing go forward by then.. And, they can confirm it only in the afternoon. At that time, Iberia in Dakar was already after 6pm and out of business hour. Mmmm.. Too complicated.. And, people in the airline doesn't know about the rule much so too much that they would know after my explanation. So, at this point, it has been confiremd that just to re-issue Round-the-World ticket I have to stay at least another couple of days in Senegal. And then, flipped coin, then I gave up my plan going to Ghana after Senegal. Mali and Burkinafaso are still in my plan. Anyway, I had nothing I can do then. And, I didn't wanted to stay in Dakar anymore so moved away from Dakar little bit and spent more relaxed time. Next day was Saturday. But JAL in London was working so talked with them and thought about what I can do if I cannot re-issue. Then, idea came up was, if I cannot re-issue in Dakar or pay in Dakar and re-issue in any other place, I can put the itinerary back to exactly same itinerary that I used had befor I made a change. So, it won't be no difference with the flight tickets that I had at that time so I don't need to re-issue my flight ticket. So, checked if it will be possible. But it was already impossible.. Which means, I need to re-issue my ticket whatever it costs. And, necessary to go back to Europe earlier than I planned to re-issue if re-issue in Dakar would be impossible.. And Monday afternoon, concated to JAL in London. Then, they told me I can pay in Iberia in Dakar, moreover, I can re-issue there! So, headed to Dakar asap and arrived at late afternoon. Then, to Iberia office and asked to re-issue. Then, I've been told. "It will take time to re-issue so could you come to pick it up tomorrow?" What? Again..? But I can at least re-issue so I gave up and decided to come to pick it up next day.. Well, it was my 26th birthday but it was the worst birthday ever!! And next day, been to Iberia and told them that came to pick up Round-the-World ticket. Then, there you go!! Finally, finally I got re-issued Round-the-World ticket!! Started to think about a change from February, actually starting to change from March 8th, with some problems finally finished on March 18th. Only to resolve problem takes 10days.. Wow.. It was raelly really complicated and too much work.. Japan Blog Kingdom, Round The World <=Just click this to support my blog ranking Japan Blog Kingdom, English Diary <= I joined this one as well そうして長い間話してもらい、対応が終わりイベリアの担当者から言われたのは、 ”月曜日にロンドンのイベリアのオフィスと連絡がとれて、それでロンドンがOKと言ったら、ここダカールで支払いしてもらって、他の場所で再発見する事になったよ” とのこと。 いや、ここでお金払って、再発券は他の場所で？ホントに？いやー、そんなことできないだろ。。 と、再発券は出来ない雰囲気が漂う。。仮にダカールで支払いを出来たとしたとしても、再発券のためだけにヨーロッパまで予定していたよりも早く帰らなきゃ行けなくなる可能性が高そう。。 そして、更に嫌なことに月曜日まで待たないとロンドンのイベリアのオフィスと連絡が取れないので、それまで何も前に進まない。それも確定が出来るのは午後になってから。。この時点ではダカールのイベリアで既に6時を回り、営業時間も終了していたしね。。 うーん。。複雑すぎる。。それに航空会社の人があまりルール知らないから、俺が説明して調べてようやく分かったりすることが多すぎるし。。 ということで、この時点で世界一周航空券の再発券をするためだけにセネガルにまた数日滞在しなくてはいけないことが確定。また、セネガル後に考えていたガーナをコイントスをして諦めることに。マリとブルキナファソはまだ検討。 まあとにかく、出来ることが何もなくなり、これ以上ダカールに居たくなかったので、ダカールからちょっと離れた街に移動し、少しボーっとして過ごす。 翌日は土曜日。だが、JALのロンドンは対応をしているので、再発券が出来なかった場合の対応策を考えてみる。 そして出てきた案は、ダカールでの再発券、もしくはダカールで支払いして、他の場所での再発券が出来ない場合は、最悪、変更を掛ける前まで持っていた予約に戻してみるという方法があるとのこと。そうすれば、今、手元に持っている航空券と変わらなくなるから、再発券の必要がなくなるとの事。そして調べてみると、それはすでに不可能になっていることが判明。。ということは、何が何でも再発券をしなければいけなくなった。そして、ダカールでの再発券が不可能な場合は予定よりも早くヨーロッパへ戻り、再発券をする必要が。。 さて月曜日の午後、ロンドンのJALと連絡をとると、ダカールのイベリアで支払いどころか再発券までを行うことになったって！！ すぐに、ダカールへと向かい、夕方に到着。イベリアのオフィスに直行し、再発券を頼むと、 ”再発券に時間が掛かるから、明日受け取りに来て” とのこと。 えぇー、また〜？ まあ、とにかく再発券は出来るとの事だから、諦め翌日に受け取りに来ることに。。ちなみにこの日は26歳の誕生日でしたが、人生最低の誕生日でしたね。。 そして翌日、恐る恐るイベリアのオフィスに行き、世界一周航空券の受け取りに来た事を伝えてみると、ようやくｘ２、再発券がされた世界一周航空券が！！ 2月から考え出し、3月8日から実際に変更を掛けだし、問題が発生し、終わったのは3月18日。問題解決だけで10日。 いやー、めんどくさかった。 |
