10th Jan On this day, same as yesterday, with Muzi & Daisy, plus, Patrick, we've head for one place. Westmost place on the European continetnt, Cabo de Loca. I've never heard about this place, but my dad e-mailed to me this was the last destination when my brother travelled from SouthEast Asia to Europe. Well, even after hearing that, I didn't have any interest to go there, but Muzi & Daisy told me they are going, and it sounded interesting so I decided to join them. This was our last day of stay in Lisoba and we all head for same destination at night. Well, anyway, we drunk till late last night, so we've all woke up little late. Pack baggage, and left it in hostel, then we've head for Cabo de Loca. When we left Lisboa, it was almost noon. At first, we've head for Cuscais where the bus to Cabo de Loca is departing. But we get off 1 station before Cuscais, walk along the beach, then arrived Cuscais. Next bus goes to Cabo de Loca depart within 30min. Until then, we buy food, then head to Cabo de Loca. And arrived at Cabo de Loca and till next bus, last bus for us is coming, we have 1hour. Take a lot of pictures over there!! And we left, and on the train back to Lisoba, we made a sandwich and enjoyed that. And soon back in hostel, then left to bus station. It was almost 8pm. Bus is going to depart around 9pm. But, when been to ticket office, it's closed. And asked another one which was open, they said it was already closed and only ticket office we can but a ticket. Not from a driver. No way!! It's same company in Spain and in Spain we can buy a ticket even from a driver!! Which means we need to be stack in Lisboa another 1 day? Then, we've decided to move to plan B. Plan B was already planned. And that is going to rent a car and go along the coast then to Spain. Driver is only Patrick but we all talked about it been a while already and it sounded most interesting. But we need to go to airport to rent a car so we once gave up. But now, we don't have a plan A for tonight, so we head for airport. And at airport, it was already almost 10pm but still most of them is working. And we found out, most of them are offering manual transmission. And patrick can drive only Automatic transmission because of his teacher. But still we have a choice, but the price was really expensive, because our plan is like drive from here and drop it at somewhere in Spain. If we drop the car at the same place, it won't be expensive, but we won't and even it's international so it's too much. And for conclusion, we gave up Plan B as well. So, we've decided for Plan C. Plan C is sleep at airport. Well, we found quiet place for sleeping. Unfortunately there were no chapel this time though. Then, watching Hotel Rwanda which was in my computer, we all slept over there. Well, also drinking oPorto wine which was given from Japanese guy I met in hostel and he said he don't need it though. It was a long and hard day. この日は昨日と同じくムジーとデイジーと更にパトリックを加えてある場所に向かった。ヨーロッパ大陸最西端、ロカ岬だ。この場所は聞いたことさえなかったが、親父からのメールでここが兄貴が東南アジアからヨーロッパへのたびをした際の最終目的地だったことを聞いてしった。でも、そんな事を聞いても特に行きたい気にはならなかったが、ムジーとデイジーが行くというし、面白そうだったので一緒に行くことに。 これが俺達皆のリスボン滞在最終日で、この後は皆で次の目的地までよる移動することに。 さて、なにはともあれ、皆昨日の夜は遅くまで飲んでいたので、皆して起きたのはちょっと遅かった。荷物を詰めて、ホステルに預けて、ロカ岬へと出発する。リスボンを出たのはもう正午頃だった。 まずはロカ岬へのバスが出ているカスカイスに向かう。 が、カスカイスの一駅前で電車を降り、ビーチ沿いに歩いてからカスカイス到着。 次のロカ岬行きのバスは30分ほどで出発。それまでにメシを買い、ロカ岬へと出発する。 そしてロカ岬到着。次のバス、俺達にとっては最後のバスが来るまでで1時間ある。そしてそこで写真を取りまくる。 そしてロカ岬出発。一路、リスボンまで戻る途中、電車でサンドイッチを作って食べる。 そしてすぐにホステルに戻り、バスターミナルへと向かう。 時刻は8時ごろ、乗るつもりのバスは9時ごろに出発。が、チケット売り場に行ってみると閉まっている。他の開いてる売り場で聞いてみると、チケット売り場はもう閉まっていて、そこでしかチケットは買えないとのこと。ドライバーからは変えないらしい。マジかよ。スペインと同じ会社じゃん。スペインではドライバーからでも買えたのに。。そしたらもう1日リスボン？ そして、俺達はプランBへと移行した。 プランBは既に出来ていた。 そのプランは車を借り、海岸線沿いにスペインへと行くというプラン。 運転はパトリックだけだが、これは皆が一番面白そうということで、もう話し合っていたこと。でもレンタルの為に空港まで行かなくてはいけないので一度は諦めた。 だけどプランAが無くなった今、一路空港に向かった。 そして空港。既に夜10時頃だが彼らは働いている。 そして分かったことは、彼らのほとんどがマニュアルのみを扱っており、パトリックは彼の教官のせいでオートマしか運転が出来ないということ。 でも、まだ選択の余地はある。が、値段は高い。理由はここから借りて、スペインのどこかで返そうというプランだから。 同じ場所に車を戻すということなら高くはならない。でも俺達はそれをしないし、更に国境を隔てるんだからそりゃ高くなる。 そして結論。プランBも諦め。 そしてプランCへと結論。 プランCは空港で寝ること。 さて、それで静かに寝れるところを確保。残念ながら今回はチャペルは無かったけど。 そして、オレのパソコンに入っていたホテルルワンダを見ながら、皆でそこで寝た。あっ、それに加えてホステルで会った日本人の男の人がいらないからということでもらったポルトワインを飲みながらだったかな。 あぁ、長く厳しい1日だった |

1月9日 この日は前日出会った、ムジーとデイジーと一緒にリスボンから電車で1時間の所にあるシントラへ。ここは街並みがいい感じということでマチルダにもミゲールにも薦めてもらった場所だ。それがオレが来た理由だしね。 さて、シントラ到着後、バスにて山の上にある城に向かう。途中、いい感じの街並みを確かに発見。帰りはここで降りようと決める。 そして、城に到着。ということで降りてみる。すると、それは別のお城。もう1個のほうらしい。でも、聞いてみたらバス停2つ分だけなので、そこまで遠くもないので徒歩でお城まで移動。 そして到着後、値段を見るとお城に入るのと、庭を見るのだけで結構値段が違う。庭を見るだけでも、城のすぐ近くまで行けるとの事だったので、それで入場。 ちょっと坂道を歩いていくと、お城発見。まあまあいい感じ。そしてここまでかな？と思っていたら、ガードも何も立っていない。ので、すんなりお城まで。建物内に入るにはチケットがいるのかもしれないが、とりあえずお城で見たいところは一通り見て回れた。 そしてその後は、庭の中で景色のいいポイントまで行き、お城を見渡しながら写真を取り捲る。20分ほど誰もいなかったので、そこでゆっくりリラックス。そして再び庭を歩き回る。 ここには一度上に伸びて、地面に向かって枝を生やし、その枝がまた樹になるという、ちょっと変な樹や、白鳥などの鳥がいたりした。 そして庭を抜け、バスにて下山。途中、行きに見かけた町で降り、適当に街をブラブラして周り、暗くなってきたのでカフェで夕飯を食べてから、駅まで歩きリスボンのホステルへと戻った。 そして戻った後は、同じホステルのアメリカ人のパトリックも加わり、4人で12時頃かもっと遅くからかな、飲みに出かける。 そこで飲みまくり、ホステルに戻ったのは午前5時頃。 翌日は夜行でこの4人で移動予定だ。 9th Jan On this day, with Muzi & Daisy who I met previous day we've been to Sintra which is the city about 1hr train ride from Lisboa. This is the place that Matilde and Miguel recommended to me because town looks so nice. That's the reason I came here. Well, after arriving at Sintra, been to castle on the mountain. On the way, I've found nice town. Decided to get off at here on the way back. And arrive at castle. Then, we get off. But it was another castle. Another one is just 2 more bus stop so we've been there by foot. And arrive there, take a look at the price. And price is not so small different between just only garden or including castle. Even only the garden, we can go very close to castle so took that and entered. And after steep, found castle. Well, it looks nice. And, we thought, we need ticket here? But no guards standing there so we could go into castle. Well, maybe needs ticket to go inside of the building but we could see so many places in the castle. And then, we've been to view point in the garden, took a lot of pictures with panoramic view of castle. And there were nobody there for about 20min so we relaxed there. And then, again walk around the garden. Here, does have a strange tree, which once grow upright, then branch grow toward ground, and that branch ganna be a tree and birds like swans. And after the garden, go down a mountain by bus. On the way, got off the town where I saw on the way to up there, walk around town for a while. Then it got dark so eat dinner at cafe and back to station by foot, then to hostel in Lisboa. And after been back, with American guy, Patric, who's staying in same hostel, with 4 of us, we've been drinking from 12 or more later. And drank there, and back to hostel around 5am. Next day, we've been planned to move in the night with 4 of us. |

7&8th Jan, On 7th, as everyday these days, I woke up late again. And, I need to take a train 30min to Lisboa, I was really lazy and didn't do nothing today. Just lay down on the couch. Even didn't go out. Well, there's one reason. I've found one friend on msn who I've never been talked even before this travel, quite a long time, so we chatted little bit. That's why. Well, that's an excuse though. And 8th, also woke up little late. But didn't wanted like yesterday, so after woke up, prepare everything and I was about to go. Before to go out, I just checked e-mail for last time, then I've got e-mail from Miguel. And that says call to his cell phone from his home phone. What's wrong? Then called to him. Then, he told me that he has just been told that he've got something to do on his project. Well, he was talking about his project before. And it's project is under process in egypt. And, yes. As I thought, that means he've got something to do in Egypt. So he need to fly to Egypt tonight. Wow. That's busy job. Well, that means I need to move. So, I pack everything, wait his back to pack his stuff, after his come back, say thank you and good-bye to him and left his home. Then, head to hostel which is located in center in Lisboa. I followed a direction, but nearly there, hostel should be, but I couldn't find it.. And finally found a hostel. And there, I've met 2 girls. One is Chinese and one is also Chinese but Canadian-Chinese. They're travelling together, and they're thinking about to go to place where I'm thinking about to go next day, so we just decided to go to there together next day. This is good point to use hostel. Keep meeting travellers. That's why I like staying hostel. Hope this ganna be good meeting 1月7&8日 7日はここ最近のお決まりで、遅く起きる。 そしてリスボンまで30分電車に乗らなくちゃいけないのもあり、だらけて何もしなかった。ただソファに横になる。家から出もしなかった。 まあ、それには理由がある。MSNである友達を発見したからだ。この旅行の前どこらか、相当長い間話してなかった。ので、ちょっとチャットをした。そういうわけ。うーん、まぁ言い訳かな。 そして8日、また遅く起きる。 が、昨日みたいなのは嫌だったので、起きてから全部準備してほぼ出かけるところだった。 そして外出前、最後のE-メールチェックをするとミゲールからのメールが。そして家の電話から彼の携帯に電話してとのこと。何事だ？ そして電話。 そして言われたのは、彼のプロジェクトでやらなくちゃならないことができたとの事。 さて、彼のプロジェクトに関しては少し話したことがあった。そしてそのプロジェクトがエジプトで進行中とのことも。 そして、そう。思ったとおり、それはエジプトで彼がやらなくちゃならないことができたとのこと。そして、今夜エジプトに飛ぶことに。わー、忙しい仕事だ。 さて、それが意味するところはオレは移動しなくちゃならない。 そして、全てパッキングして、彼が彼の荷物をパッキングしに戻ってくるのを待ち、お礼とお別れをいい彼の家を後にした。 そして、リスボンの中心街に位置するホステルに移動。 行き方にそって行くが、もうほぼそこって場所までは来たのにみつからない。。そしてようやく発見。 そして、そこで2人の女の子に出会う。一人は中国人。もう1人も中国人だけど、カナダ系中国人。彼女達は一緒に旅行をしてるらしく、明日オレが行こうと思ってる場所に行こうか思案中だったので翌日一緒に行くことに。 これがホステルの利点 旅行者達に会える。だからホステルに泊まるのは好き。 これがいい出会いだといいなぁ |

1月6日 この日は昼過ぎからホストのミゲールと一緒に彼の両親の所に行き、一緒に食事。それからリスボンの街歩きに出かける。 彼の家はリスボンからちょっと離れたところだから、彼の車でリスボンまで移動。 そして彼の案内で大聖堂や、景色のいい場所などに行き、最後はリスボンを見渡せる景色のいいカフェに行き、コーヒーを飲み、景色を堪能。そして、帰宅した。 そしてその夜、久々に映画館に行った。この旅でおそらく2度目。見たのは『アイ・アム・レジェンド』。オレはウィル・スミスの映画は好きだけど、この映画は終わり方があまりなぁ、という感じだった。ミゲールは満足したみたいだけど。かといって、どうなって欲しかったってのもないしなぁ。 6th Jan, On this day, with my host, Miguel, been to his parent's home and eat lunch together, then to walk around Lisboa. His home is bit away from Lisboa so been by his drive. And with his guide, been to Cathedral, place with nice view, and for last, been to cafe with panoramic view of Lisboa, enjoy view with coffee. Then, we've been back home. And that night, been to cinema since been while. Probably 2nd time in this travel. The movie was I am legend. I like Will Smith's movie, but I didn't like ending for this so much. Miguel was satisfied. Well, I don't have anything that supposed to be like this. |

5th Jan, Woke up little late, then moved to Lisboa. In here, Lisboa, I have a couch. After arriving at Lisboa, make a call to host and met up with him. His name is Miguel. And that night, I ate dinner with him and his girlfriend and his friend. And after that, we watch dvd and go to sleep. 1月5日 少し遅く起き、リスボンに移動。 ここリスボンではカウチがある。リスボン到着後ホストに電話し彼と会う。 彼の名前はミゲール。 その夜は彼と彼の彼女と彼の友達と一緒に夕飯を食う。 そして、DVDを見て寝た。 |
