2008年3月13日 ということで、ここダカールに問題を解決するために戻ってきた。 でも、この日、全てが閉まっていた。空港のオフィスのような所でさえも午後は閉まっていた。 イスラム会議?（そうとしか覚えてないし、メールにもこれしか残っていない）のため、全てが閉まっていた。 そんな感じで、西アフリカで唯一オレが問題を解決できる場所（ガーナを除く）は閉まっていたため、何も出来なかった。 何のために戻ってきたんだか。。キャップスキアリングかカサマンスの他の場所に居れたのに。。 ホント、何のためだろう。 ホント、何も出来なかった。 So, I came back to deal with my problem here in Dakar. But, on this day, everything was closed even the offices in the place like airport was closed in the afternoon too. Because of Islamic Conference(I only remember for that and nothing else than this on my e-mai). Everything was closed. So, the only place I can deal with my problem in West Africa(except Ghana) was closed and I could have done anything.. So I came back here for nothing.. I could stay Capskirring or another place in Casamance instead.. I really had nothing.. So, I've done nothing |

12/March/2008 So, as I mentioned, I had a problem and to fix it I had to go back to Dakar. And, there were 2 option. 1. Go back the same route which I took more than 24 hours. 2. Take TransGambian way. TransGambian is the way that go through another country which is lying middle of Senegal. But there were some consideration so I didn't take that before. The problem is I need a VISA. And there were no information that says that I could get that I can just go border and buy there. For that reason when I came down here, I didn't take that risk. But now, I wanna go back to Dakar as soon as possible and people keep saying I can get it at the border. So, information that I have now says I can easily go through the Gambia!! Well, there were still slight risk but I think it will be fine. So, I decided to take that risk for the possibility for going back to Dakar ASAP. So, I left Cap Skirring early in the morning and was in the garage in Ziguinchor around 7am. It was early in the morning so it was more easier to find other people to go with same taxi. And, went to the border town, then passed immigration without any problem!! So, it was easy. Then, took an another taxi to another border town which is north part of The Gambia. Then, passed immigration again without any problem. And, I was back in Dakar. It was much more easier than before!! But it was too late to do something with my problem so I decided to wait until next day. I hope that will be fine soon. Japan Blog Kingdom, Round The World <=Just click this to support my blog ranking Japan Blog Kingdom, English Diary <= I joined this one as well 2008年3月12日 前述した様に、問題が発生したためそれを直すためにダカールへ戻ることに。 でも、オプションは２つあった。 1. 24時間以上かかった同じルートで戻る 2. トランスガンビアンルートを通る トランスガンビアンルートはセネガルの真ん中にある、他の国を通るルート。 でも、そこにはある懸念があったので、前は使わなかった。 問題は、ビザがいること。そして、単に国境に行けばそこで買えるのかどうかの情報が無かった。 その為、ここに来た時はそのリスクは取らなかった。 でも今は、ダカールに出来るだけ早く戻りたい。そして、皆が皆、国境で取れるよという。なので、今回はその情報によれば、簡単にガンビアを通り抜けられる。 ということで、まだ微妙にリスクはあるけど、大丈夫だろう。ということで、ダカールに出来るだけ早く帰るため、そのリスクを取ることにした。 そして、キャップスキアリングを早朝に去り、ジゲンショアのガラージに朝7時ごろに。まだ朝も早かった為、同じタクシーで行く人が見つかるのも簡単だった。 そして、国境の町まで行って出入国審査を何も問題なく通り過ぎる！なんと簡単な。 で、他のタクシーでまたガンビアの北側の国境の町で、またもや問題なく出入国審査をパスする。 そうしてダカールに戻ってきた。前に比べてはるかに楽だ！ でも、オレの抱えている問題をどうにかするには遅すぎたので、翌日まで待つことに。 すぐに終わりますように。 |

2008年3月11日 キャップ・スキアリング到着後一夜明け、さあちょっと観て周ろうかな。でもその前に確認することもあるしメールチェックするか、とネットカフェに。そこで見たのは、ここ最近時間をかけ、ここに来る前にようやく一段落ついたと思ってたものが、駄目になったという連絡だった。。 そんな訳で、ちょっとメールチェックのはずが、長時間ネットカフェにて時間を過ごすことに。。そして、来て早々、翌日にダカールへととんぼ返りをすることが確定。。いやぁ、ホント最低。。来るのに24時間以上かかったのに。。 まあ、それでも夕方前くらいからようやく少し町を見て周ることが出来た。 で、一番最初にビーチに行ってみると、なんか見たことがあるような人影が。。 そこに居たのは、ジジ！何度目だ？4度目か？いやぁ、大体の行くルートとかは知ってたし、かぶってるのも知ってたけど、でもよく会うなぁ。ホント、面白い。世界は広い。でも、こんなこともある。世界は広い。でも、それと同じく思っているよりも狭いものでもある。 そして夜には通りで音楽を聞いたりし、この時、地元の気のイイ兄ちゃんが色々教えてくれて楽しめた。なにより音楽がよかった。 さて、翌日はダカールへとんぼ返りだ。。 11/Mar/2008 After 1 night in Capskiring, go to take a walk! But, have something to confirm so let's check e-mail first. So, I went to cybercafe. And, what I saw there was the news that what I had been taking some time and done before coming to here had been wrong and failed.. That was the news.. So, I had to stuck in the cybercafe for a while, not for just check e-mail.. And, had to decide to go back to Dakar next day even right after my arrival here.. What the... Took me more than 24hrs to come here.. Well, anyway, I could walk around the town before late afternoon. At first, been to the beach. And there, I saw somebody very familiar.. There here is!! Gigi!! How many times? 4th? Well, I knew his route and I knew we would go pretty much same but this is so many times!! I really feel funny. The world is big, but this can happen. The world is big but at the same time, smaller than I thought. And, at night, I listened music on the street and at that time one local guy told me a lot so I could enjoy it! And, the music was good. Well, next day, I have to go back to Dakar.. |

9-10/3/2008 This day, our plan was to take the grand-taxi to different locations. So, we went to garage together. Then, we took a different grand-taxi. Ji Yeon took a grand-taxi to Kaolack, I took a grand-taxi to Tambacounda. It was around noon or so when I took a ride in Dakar. Then, it was night when I arrived in Tambacounda. Actually, Tambacounda wasn't my final destination. So, I had to change grand-taxi there. But it was kind of late at night so we had to wait until enough people come to take a ride to Ziguinchor, which is capital of Casamance. Then, from Ziguinchor to Cap Skiring. When I arrived in Cap Skiring, it was already late afternoon so it took more than 24hours. It was unexpected. Geografically, it looks not that far from Dakar, but technically, it is, because of another country called The Gambia is lying middle of Senegal in between Dakar and Casamance area. I had other options. Like going through The Gambia but I maybe have to pay for the entrance and exit fee of The Gambia and Senegal which I didn't like and it could be little bit annoying to go through another country. And, another option was to take a ferry from Dakar to Ziguinchor, which I wanted to do but I just had to give up because the ferry leaves once a week. So, anyway, I finally came down here. Cap Skiring, is name of the town along the coast in Casamance. Casamance is area beneath the Gambia which is told they sometimes have some activities there. Well, anyway, after arriving here, just look for hotel here, then first thing I did was, take a shower because the road was really dusty!! When I do shampoo, look how dirty it was!! Wow, that was long and dusty ride.. Japan Blog Kingdom, Round The World <=Just click this to support my blog ranking Japan Blog Kingdom, English Diary <= I joined this one as well 2008年3月9-10日 この日は、グランドタクシーで別々の場所に行くので、とりあえずガレージまで一緒に。 で、別々のグランドタクシーに乗り込んだ。 ジ・ヨンはカオラック行きに、オレはタンバクンダ行きのグランドタクシーに。 ダカールを出発したのはお昼頃だったかな。で、タンバクンダに到着したのは夜。 それに、タンバクンダは実際の目的地ではないので、違うグランドタクシーに乗り換え。でも、既に夜も少し遅めだったので、カサマンスの首都のジガンショール行きに乗る人がいっぱいになるまで待たなくてはいけなかった。で、ジガンショールからキャップ・スキアリングに。 キャップ・スキアリングに着いたのは既に夕方。24時間以上かかってるよ。予想だにしてなかった。地理的にはダカールからそんなに離れてないように見えるけど、でも実際には遠い。なぜならガンビアという別の国がセネガルの真っ只中、ダカールとカサマンス地区の間にあるから。 他にも選択肢はあったん。ガンビアを通ること。でも、入出国料をガンビアとセネガルに払わないといけないかもしれないし、なんか違う国を通るってのがめんどくさかった。 他の選択肢はダカールからジガンショールまでフェリー。これがしたかったんだけどフェリーは週１なので諦めた。 まあとにかく、ようやくここに来た。キャップ・スキアリング。カサマンス地区の海岸線に沿った街。カサマンスはガンビアの下にある地域で、たまにある動きが活発化したりするらしい。 まあとにかく、ここに着いて、ホテル探し。で、真っ先にしたことはシャワー。道中、埃っぽかったから。 シャンプーしてみると、こんなに。。 あぁ、長く埃っぽい道のりだった。。 |

2008年3月8日 さて、ラック・ローズ湖からダカールに戻って、この夜はあるイベントが。 それは、いつもよりちょっとだけ高めのレストランに行くこと。まぁ、ドレスコードがあるようなハイグレードな所に行くんじゃないから、そんなイベントってほどのもんじゃないんだけど。ただ単にいつもより、ほんのちょっと、25%位高めで、ライブミュージックが流れてるレストランに行く。ただ、そんだけ。 理由は。。これがジヨンと旅をする最後の夜だから。 この先、ジヨンは楽器を習いにある場所に、オレはセネガルの違う場所に行くことに決めていたから当然の別れだ。 まぁ、そんな理由でいつもより少し高めの場所に行き、お互いのこの先の旅の健闘を祝うことに。 さて、どれくらい一緒に旅をしてきただろう？ 最初に会ったのは、俺がスペインの最後で、ジヨンがスペインのはじめの方だったカディスという街。そこのホステルで一夜だけ一緒の宿だったので、少し話をして、ジヨンがちょっとしたらモロッコに来ると言っていたので、メアドを交換し、オレがモロッコにいる時にメールをして、その時いたカサブランカの近くのラバトに来ることになったからそこで合流したのが2月頭。それから残りのモロッコ、モーリタニア、セネガルと3カ国、1ヶ月ちょっとを一緒に旅してきた。まぁ、一ヶ月も一緒に旅してるので意見が違うことでまぁ少しばかり言い合いをしたりもあったけど、それも良い思い出です。 ということで、最後のディナーを少しだけリッチに。 前菜でサラダ、メインでケバブとパスタ、デザートにバナナとパイナップルのなんかを、セネガルミュージック（？）を聞きながら、いただいてきました。 そしてホテルへと戻ると、部屋の前にネコが。ぶれてるけど、一応アップします。 そしてネコ達にオヤスミを言い、まだ終えていなかったパッキングを終え、無事就寝です。 8/3/2008 Well then, after coming back to Dakar from Lac Rose, we had a one event that night. That was, going to little bit more expensive restaurante than usual. Well, that's nothing fancy place like where they have a dress code so it wasn't actually that event. Just simply go to the place where we pay 25% more than usual so we can listen live music in the restaurante. That was it. The reason was.. This was the last night to travel with Ji Yeon. Ji Yeon goes to one place to learn some instruments, I go to another place in Senegal so this should happen. Absolutely. So, to celebrate our future travel, we came to little bit more expensive place. Well, how long did we travel together? We first met in Cadiz, Spain which was almost last part for me, and it was just beginning for her. We had a one night together in the hostel so we talked a little bit and Ji Yeon told me she's coming to Morocco soon, we exchanged e-mail, then I e-mailed her when I'm in Morocco, and she was about to come to Rabat where near Casablanca, where I was staying then. It was beginning of February. After that, we traveled together rest of Morocco, Mauritania and Senegal for a month and bit more. Well, as we traveled together, we had a different opinion sometime so we had some arguement, but it's a memory too. So, we ate our last dinner together little bit more rich. Listening Senegalian music(I guess) ate salad for appetizer, Kebab and pasta for main, banana and pineapple for dessert. When we went back to hotel, there were some cats sleeping in front of our room. It's out of focus but uploading anyway. Well then, say good night to cats, done packing what we hadn't done yet, then slept. |
