＜メモ＞ サンクラに上げてある『アウト・イン・ザ・ワールド』の、いかにもの「和物」らしさ・情念の世界を期待した向きは、英詞とこの「お洒落サウンド」にはずっこけだろう。（シンセだが）オーケストレイション命！という態度はニック・ドレイク、もしくはティム·ハーディンあたりから...、かな？ とにかくM.には相当注文をつけた。編曲者のクレジットも俺がいただきだ（笑）。まあそれも単なるジョークではない。ディスクのスリーヴ上で彼に謝意が贈られているのは、つまりは皮肉なのである。（皮肉、ってのは、愛情の一段階なのよ。分かる？）
