Judas Priest announce farewell EPITAPH World Tour!!

After storming the world for nearly 40 years and taking their very special brand of heavy metal to all four corners of the planet, JUDAS PRIEST - one of the most influential heavy metal bands of all time, have announced this will be their final world tour!!

However, the mighty PRIEST will certainly be going out strong as they rock the planet starting in 2011 on the massive EPITAPH tour - hitting all the major cities throughout the world they will be playing the songs that helped make the name JUDAS PRIEST synonymous with heavy metal!

With all guns blazing and amps cranked to eleven, the band will be giving all their fans one last chance to witness the ultimate metal experience that is JUDAS PRIEST!

JUDAS PRIEST will be starting their world tour in Europe - we have just confirmed the following festivals for 2011 -

9th June Sweden Rock Festival, Sweden
11th June Sauna Festival, Finland
17th June Copenhell Festival, Copenhagen, Denmark
19th June Hellfest, Nantes, France
22nd June Gods of Metal Festival, Milan, Italy
25th June Graspop Festival, Belgium
23rd July High Voltage Festival, London, UK
5th August Wacken Festival, Germany

これが彼らの最終的なワールドツアーになると発表しました!
果たしてこれは本当なのでしょうか？

JUDAS PRIEST（ジュ―ダス・プリースト）は今年になって「年内は

ツアーを休止する」と彼らのオフィシャル・サイトで発表しています。
彼らは2年間のワールド・ツアーを2009年の終わりに完了させ、

バッテリーを充電する必要があるという表明を出しました。
ですから、ある程度充電を済ませたらまた復帰してくれるものだと

思っていましたら・・・
いきなりの最後のワールドツアーになるとの記事にビックリしている

DOROですが・・・
彼らは今年5月に（国内盤は5月12日）発売された『British Steel –

 30th Anniversary』のプロモーションを行っています・・・
その際、2011 年と2012年にはツアーを再開させる。
とも言っていました。

"Halford"1980 年に発表した『British Steel』から30年・・・
アメリカではRIAA公認プラチナ・アルバムとしてTop40に輝き、
イギリスでも初のTop10スタジオ・アルバムとなった名盤です。
『British Steel』の30周年を記念したアニバーサリー・エディションも
発売されました。

こちらは2ヴァージョン存在し、彼らのサイトやオンライン・ストアで

発売するヴァージョンはCD1に2001年にリマスターされた9曲入り

CDに2 曲ボーナス追加。
CD2はライヴDVDに合わせたライヴ・オ―ディオのカウンターパート。
そしてDVDは2009年のUSツアーの16曲ライヴに7曲を加え、

『British Steel』のメイキング・シーンも収録。
2009年のライヴを見た人は思い出に酔いしれ、そうでない人は最初

で最後となる完全再現を体感できる、大注目の作品ですね！！！
