最後の授業

先日の木曜日、「知識・情報管理」の授業があり、この２年間の最後の授業でした。

この先生は毎度のように、
「MBA学生は、Operational Doer から Strategic Thinker に変わらなくてはいけない」
と繰り返し言っていました。
部門担当者から戦略的頭脳へ変貌せよ、ということです。



授業の最後は Peter Drucker の言葉で締めくくられ、僕のMBAの授業は終了しました。
ビジネスのあり方を象徴する、素晴らしい言葉です。

The source of wealth is something specifically human; that is knowledge.

If we apply knowledge to tasks we already know how to do,
we call it productivity.

If we apply knowledge to tasks that are new and different,
we call it innovation.

Only knowledge allows us to achieve those two goals.



最後のこの言葉に、何故か涙が出てきました。

過ぎれば２年なんかあっと言うまですね。
試験に向けてもう一踏ん張り、がんばります。
