長い目で見れば、真山徹（渡部篤郎）が朝倉を追い詰める話。
短い区切りで見れば、連続ショートミステリー。

主人公は中谷美紀演ずる推理マニアで東大卒、幹部候補生の柴田純。
（推理は冴えてるけど、ちょっと、とろい）。
配属先は迷宮入りした事件（のファイル？）を扱う日の当たらない部署。

一話ごとに謎解きをしていくうちに、
背後にある「とある事件」と「とある人物」の謎が浮かび上がる。
同年特別編が製作され、後に映画化。

土屋昌巳（G・Vo）、平田謙吾（B）、藤井章司（D）等と一風堂を結成。
84年に解散。

本作品は、このテレビドラマ『ケイゾク』のサウンドトラックとして発売された作品。
ズバリ、ひじょ〜によくできているテクノ系の作品ではなかろうか。

正直、１曲目のCONTINUATIONのみで、引き込まれまくりである。
打ち込み系サウンド。その上に静かにピアノが旋律を奏でる。
ぞくぞくしてきます。

５曲目のSPECIAL REFERENCE、みじかーい曲なのですが、
シンセベースのサウンドが強烈です。

８曲目のHEARTRENDING、これまた、気持ちいい！
A Reminiscent Driveと印象が重なりました！

夏の真夜中に、タマラないサウンドです。
