先日、友だちの娘がフルートをやってると言うので、
ジェスロタルを紹介してあげましたww（偏ってるww）
今度の演奏会ではイアン・アンダーソンのように、
片足を挙げて演奏してもらいたいとこですが。
それはさておき。
ストーンズとの共演という点で言えば、
何と言っても、1968年12月に収録された『ロックンロールサーカス』。
その1曲目が「A song for Jeffrey（ジェフリーへ捧げし歌）」です。
この曲はジェスロタルの1stアルバム『This was（日曜日の印象）』に入っており、
シングルカットもされました。
彼らの演奏はひとまず置いておいて、
この時のローリングストーンズ及びブライアン・ジョーンズについて、
イアン・アンダーソンは次のようにコメントしています。
Although I'm a great admirer of the Stones, they're poor musicians. They played on their show and were awful — they couldn't get together at all. （中略）Mick Jagger has really mastered the sort of thing he does, but Brian Jones just can't play.
当然と言うか。
思ったとおりのひどい評価であり、
やっぱりブライアンはまともに演奏していないようですね。。。
とは言え、この時のジェスロタルも、
ギターのトミー・アイオミがケガをしていたため、演奏は当てフリなんですがww
というわけで、本日の一曲。
もちろんジェスロタルの「A song for Jeffrey（ジェフリーへ捧げし歌）」。
