3月26日、萩原健一さんが亡くなった。
68歳だった。
ザ・テンプターズのオリジナル曲ももちろん好きだけど、
個人的には1969年4月20日の厚生年金会館でのライブアルバム、
『ザ・テンプターズ・オン・ステージ』が大好きです。
1曲目にいきなり「Jumping Jack Flash」のめちゃくちゃなコピー。
ただ当時の熱狂がビンビンに来てます(^^)/
あ、そうか、このライブの頃は、
まだブライアンはストーンズに在籍していたんだな。。。
などと感慨に耽っていますが、
『ザ・テンプターズ・オン・ステージ』の疾走感はほんとにすごいです。
あれから50年も経っているっていうのを感じさせません。

1965年3月21日。
ABCテレビのスタジオで「Thank your lucky stars」の収録。
記録によれば「The last time」「Off the hook」など4曲の当てフリをした。
残念ながら、映像・音源ともに未確認だが、
なぜかブライアンは「Off the hook」でピアノであったという。
なお、「Off the hook」はナンカーフェルジ名義のストーンズオリジナルで、
イギリスでは2枚目のシングルチャート1位となった「Little red rooster」B面、
2ndアルバム『The Rolling Stones No. 2』B面5曲目、
アメリカでは3rdアルバム『The Rolling Stones Now!』B面2曲目である。

さきほど「Rolling Stones Data」というtwitterを見ていたら、
驚きの情報がツイートされていました!!
Rolling Stones’ ‘Circus,’ once lost and unfinished, will receive a theatrical release
え!?
「一度失われたり、未完成のストーンズ『サーカス』が劇場公開」
どうやら『ロサンゼルスタイムス』の記事のようで、
オフィシャル映像も貼り付けられています!!
どうやら4月からの北米ツアーに合わせて、アメリカで公開される見込み。
記事の中ではブライアン最後のライブであったこと、
心に沁みる「No expectations」のスライドギターだったことも記されています。
なんとか日本での上映も行って頂きたいところです。

ついに待ちに待ったこの日、
ザ・ローリング・ストーンズ展『EXHIBITIONISM』の開幕の日を迎えました!!!
ストーンズに関する500点にも及ぶ展示です!!
すでに内覧会も催され、多くの感動の声が聞こえています(^^)/

1月9日にZepp東京でライブ絶響上映を見ました(^^)/
内容は、ボウイの『ジギー・スターダスト』。
全体がガシガシと揺れる感じでとても楽しかったです。
そんなライブ絶響上映、4月は2本のストーンズが見られます(^^)/
ひとつは、1983年『Let's Spend the Night Together』。
1981年のアメリカツアーの模様の映画ですね(^^)/
