以前、ご紹介したらくだのミルクを使ったチョコレートを再掲載する。 木箱入りのなかなか豪華なものである。 中身はご覧のとおり…、らくだである。（笑 ちなみに、一箱AED25（約750円）を高いと判断するのか安いと判断するのかは、お任せする…（笑 以前も書いているようにドバイの土産としては、けっこういよい選択肢では…？！と思っている。 ところで、 日本橋、三越に行くと、なんと日本でも手に入るそうである…（笑 日本人のお口に合うかどうか…？もさることながら一体いくらで売り出すのか…？ そこに大きな興味がある。どなたかご存知の方がおられたら、ご教示いただきたいものである。 UAE-based camel milk chocolate producer Al Nassma yesterday opened its first store in Japan. The new outlet is based in the Mitsukoshi department store in the business district of Nihombashi in the centre of Tokyo. "This is a clear signal that UAE companies are able to gain an international foothold even in such complex markets like Japan," Martin van Almsick, General Manager of Al Nassma Chocolate, told Gulf News. "We are proud that we were able to reach this important stage target in the course of our international expansion drive," he added. Van Almsick also said Al Nassma has been listed by other major Japanese department stores Isetan and Hanshen and has been launched in respective stores in Osaka, Kyoto and Sapporo. The opening of the Tokyo store was attended by the chairman of Mitsukoshi and the UAE ambassador to Japan, van Almsick said. Al Nassma's chocolates are distributed in Japan by Home Needs. According to Mohammad Gaffar Othman, its chairman and CEO, Al Nassma currently is the only UAE product with a Japanese label on it. |

ロンドンはヒースローからの到着便だ。本来は深夜の時間帯に到着するのだが、どういうわけか、午前８時過ぎの到着。ラッキー…（笑 現在、エミレーツ航空は、エアバスA380に関して58機の確定発注を行っており、現在9機がすでに就役しているが、さらに32機の発注が公表された。今回の32機を合わせると、A380のフリートは機におよぶこととなり、圧倒的な世界最大のA380オペレーターとなる。永らく、ジャンボジェットの最大オペレーターの名をほしいままとしてきた、JAであるが、残念ながら完全に形勢は逆転してしまったようである。 ちなみに79機を擁する、トリプルセブンについても圧倒的な世界最大のオペレーターであることはすでにご報告したとおりである。 Emirates airline yesterday broke the aviation record for the largest order by value when it signed a $11.5 billion deal with Airbus for 32 additional A380s at the Berlin Air Show. The year's first and only A380 order has brought the total to 234 for the European manufacturer, taking Emirates' share to 90 superjumbos — making it by far the biggest buyer of the double-decker aircraft. In addition to the order placed yesterday, Emirates has 48 A380s, 70 A350s, 18 Boeing 777-300s and seven Boeing air freighters on order totalling 143 wide-body aircraft worth more than $48 billion. Dubai's flagship carrier will receive its 10th A380 next month and said it expects all 90 superjumbos to be delivered by 2017. 新聞報道によると、エアバスA350についても70機の確定発注を行っており、おそらくこれも世界最大となるのではなかろうか…。 とすると、何でもかんでも世界一…。景気のよい話である。 ドバイ経済のリセッションが叫ばれる中、エミレーツ航空の景気だけは絶好調なようである。 なお、この記事の中で、ドバイのフラッグキャリアであると明記されているところに、アラブ首長国連邦のフラッグキャリアであるエティハッド航空を相当に意識しているな…、ということを感じた。 エミレーツの翼は、146機のワイドボディー機を擁することとなる。押しも押されぬ世界的な航空会社となってきたようだ。
