JAL Boeing 787 suffers small fire in Boston
An electrical fire sent smoke through the cabin of a Japan Airlines' Boeing 787, as it was preparing for its next flight at an airport in Boston. No one was injured.
A mechanic found smoke rising from the back of the aircraft at Boston's Logan Airport on Monday morning.
The Boeing jet had arrived from Narita, Japan about 30 minutes earlier. All 172 passengers and 11 crew members had disembarked.
Firefighters found flames coming from a battery pack under the passenger's compartment and put out the fire. The battery supplies the plane's auxiliary power unit, which is used while the aircraft is parked.
The US National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause.

The 787 is Boeing's latest model. Japan Airlines had just begun flying the plane in late December. The fire has delayed the aircraft's return flight from Boston to Narita.

Two weeks later, Qatar Airways publicly complained that a newly-delivered 787 had to be grounded for several days to correct a similar problem. More recently, LAN also has expressed concerns about the reliability of electrical and cooling systems on board the 787.

消防などによりますと、アメリカ東部・マサチューセッツ州のボストンにあるローガン国際空港で、現地時間の７日午前１０時半ごろ、旅客ターミナルに止まっていた日本航空のボーイング７８７型機の機内で、煙が立ちこめているという通報が整備士からありました。
消防が駆けつけたところ、エンジンを止めている間に機内に電力を供給するためのバッテリーが爆発し、小規模な火災が発生していたということで、消防士が、機体後部にある貨物用の入り口などから中に入って火を消し止めました。

【1月9日 AFP】米東部ボストン（Boston）の空港で8日、成田行き日本航空（Japan Airlines、JAL）007便のボーイング（Boeing）787型機が離陸直前に燃料漏れを起こし、空港に足止めされるトラブルがあった。米政府当局が発表した。同空港では7日にも日航の同型機が火災を起こしたばかり。
地元空港当局によると、約40ガロン（約150リットル）の燃料が漏れ出た。日航関係者によれば、機体の調査が現在行われており、燃料漏れの原因はまだ分かっていない。

前日の7日には、成田からボストンに到着した日航の別の同型機から出火・発煙するトラブルがあった。ボーイング社は7日のトラブルについて、出火原因の調査が完了するまでに議論をすることは「時期尚早」との声明を発表している。
現場には米国家運輸安全委員会（National Transportation Safety Board、NTSB）が即座に3人の調査員を派遣し、7日のトラブルについて公式な調査を開始。出火は電気系統の問題が原因だったと発表している。(c)AFP

山口宇部空港から日本の西部に向うBoeing 787 Dreamlinerの空の便が遅延あるいは欠航した。AFPが伝えた。
AFPに空港の代表が伝えたところによれば、航空会社ANAの空の便は後部のブレーキシステムの故障のために遅延を余儀なくされた。ブレーキシステムを構成する部品が交換された。

アシアナ航空、サンフランシスコで着陸失敗 777初の死亡事故

AARによると、同便には乗客291人と乗員16人の計307人が乗っており、仁川空港を定刻の5分遅れとなる6日午後4時35分に出発。サンフランシスコ空港で着陸に失敗した。機体前方の天井が焼け落ち、垂直尾翼と水平尾翼、機体尾部がばらばらになった。同社の記録では到着時刻は6日午前11時28分。
乗客は中国人141人、韓国人77人、米国人61人、日本人1人が含まれており、外務省によると日本人は軽傷だという。
777にとっては1995年の就航以来、初の死亡事故となった。米国家運輸安全委員会（NTSB）は調査官を現地に派遣した。AFP通信によると、米国連邦捜査局（FBI）は現時点で、事故はテロによるものではないとの見方を示している。
AARによると、事故機は2006年3月に受領。現在同機を含む12機を保有しており、6種類ある座席配列のうち295席仕様（ビジネス24席、エコノミー271席）。エンジンは米プラット・アンド・ホイットニー社製PW4090。

米運輸安全委員会（ＮＴＳＢ）が事故原因の調査に乗り出し、ハースマン委員長らが現地に
向かった。韓国国土交通省によると、ＮＴＳＢが事故機のイ・ジョンミン機長から事情を
聴いているという。ハースマン氏はワシントンで開いた記者会見で、韓国の運輸当局や
ボーイング社とも協力して機体の状況や操縦ミスがなかったかなどあらゆる可能性を
調べると述べた。連邦捜査局（ＦＢＩ）はテロを示す痕跡はないとしている。
米メディアによると、着陸時の機体の進入角度が不自然だったとの目撃証言がある。
当時、現地の天候は良好で、運航に支障はなかったという。
女性の乗客は韓国のＹＴＮテレビに対し「着陸前に異常を知らせる機内放送はなかった」と述べた。
別の男性乗客は「着陸後、機長から脱出を指示する機内放送があり、乗務員の案内に
