［国防ミーナ］国産超音速高等訓練機T-50のウズベキスタンの輸出が米国政府の反対で事実上流れたものと23日、明らかになった。

政府消息筋は"T-50の製作会社である韓国航空宇宙産業(KAI)がウズベキスタン政府と輸出交渉を行ったが、最近、米政府が技術流出及び外交政策などの理由で反対の立場を示したと知っている"と話した。 契約の予想規模は12機で4億ドル(約4500億ウォン)分だった。

T-50は米ロッキードマーティンの技術支援で開発された。 航電装備、エンジンなど、大半の核心技術が米国産だ。 このために米兵器輸出統制法などの適用を受け、輸出はもとより、外国で展示する時も米政府の承認を受けなければならない。

２月８日発生の落下事故について

昨日もお知らせした ２月８日午後２時頃、米海軍厚木基地近く、大和市の県道あたりに、米海軍原子力空母 ジョージ・ワシントンの艦載機ＥＡ−６Ｂプラウラー（厚木基地所属）の部品が落下した事故について、地元大和市平和委員会から情報提供がありました。

事故をおこしたのは第１３６電子攻撃飛行隊（ＶＡＱー１３６）所属のＥＡ−６Ｂ電子攻撃機（機番 ＮＦ−５０１ シリアルNo. 163034）で、「Ｃ訓練空域」で訓練を実施した後、厚木基地に着陸しようとした時に鳥を吸い込んでエンジンが破損したいわゆる「バード・ストライク」であったとのことです。

１月３１日に横田に来たＥＡ−６Ｂは（５００） （５０２） （５０４）だったので、来たものとは違ったのが事故をおこしたようです。

【6月3日 AFP】米空軍のアクロバットチーム、サンダーバーズ（Thunderbirds）のF16戦闘機1機が2日、米空軍士官学校（US Air Force Academy）卒業式の上空を飛行した直後に墜落した。パイロットは無事に脱出した。匿名の空軍当局者が明らかにした。空軍は墜落原因を調べている。

米コロラド（Colorado）州コロラドスプリングズ（Colorado Springs）で行われた卒業式にはバラク・オバマ（Barack Obama）米大統領も出席し、演説していた。

事故機はピーターソン米軍基地（Peterson Air Force Base）から約9キロの地点に墜落。同行記者団によると、オバマ大統領は救助された操縦士と同基地で面会し、操縦士にけががなったことに安堵（あんど）感を示し、国家への奉仕に謝意を示した。オバマ大統領はその後大統領専用機「エアフォース・ワン（Air Force One）」で首都ワシントン（Washington D.C.）への帰途についた。 (c)AFP

The F-16 was returning to Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado, shortly after the flyover when it crashed, said Lt. Col. Christopher Hammond, commander of the Air Force's Thunderbirds demonstration team.

The pilot of the No. 6 jet, Maj. Alex Turner, is being medically evaluated after he ejected safely, Hammond said during a press conference. He joined the team in October 2015, he said. The No. 6 jet is one of the solo pilot aircraft.

The Thunderbirds' website says Turner has logged over 1,200 flight hours as an Air Force pilot, with more than 270 combat hours over Libya and Iraq.

When asked whether the pilot steered the aircraft towards the empty field deliberately, Best said, "Any time a pilot ejects we always try to go down into an unpopulated area."

Pictures on Twitter appear to show the F-16 Falcon in the middle of a field following the crash.
