英検 初受験

日曜日に英検一級の一次試験に行ってきました。

英検を受けるは初めてだったのですが、見覚えのない単語が結構出てきて・・・

困りました(･ω･ )。

ネット上に正解がUPされていたので自己採点してみましたが、合否は微妙ですね。

113点満点という構成の中で英作文(200語程度)への配点が28点と大きく、ここで満足できるものが書けなかったことが不安要因になっています。

約7割の正解が合格ラインだということなので、英作文以外で95％正答すれば英作文の得点に頼らず7割に乗る計算なのですが、単語力不足がたたって85％止まりだったので結果は微妙です。

一級一次では語意さえ知っていれば正解できる穴埋め問題が25問も出題されます。113点満点の内の25点なので英検ってかなり単語力を重要視した試験のようです。未熟な私はこの25問のうちで5問も不正解を出してしまいました(もったいないけど仕方ないです)。

語彙は地道に増やしていくしかないですね。

うぅむ。問題は…何がなにやらわからないですわ〜。どうも苦手意識がありますね〜ｗ 英語自体は好きなんですが、もう一度１から言葉を覚えようってのがまた苦手ですｗ

単語の暗記って地味な行為ですよね。特にここら辺の単語って「知らなくてもいいや」と、つい思ってしまいがちな単語なので・・・。英検対策の単語集に precipitation probability (降水確率) なんていうのがあったのですが、「え〜？ chance of rain じゃだめなのか〜？」と、ぶつぶつ言いながら勉強してました(笑)。
