22. Apology
Fukuyama , 2005-04-06 22:49
Dear Jun,
I am sorry.
It seems you got angry.
I give some suggestion.
If you really love Korea, it is better to try to be gentleman.
You know I am reporter and will write this international conversation to many Japanese.
I believe that most Korean are educated and polite like most Japanese.
I could not find the article that indicates ICJ can not give an eminently fair decision.
Even so, I will not vote Japanese right-wing side when election comes.
I am a pacifist and not nationalist.
If you want to believe me your story, then you must show me some conclusive proof.
But I recommend you that you should aim to change many Japanese mind (not me).
I hope you accept my message.
I will also try to find good future in my way.
Of cause, I will listen to your assertion.
24. No need to apologize for that...

"I am sorry.
It seems you got angry."
-->You don't have to apologize if you are just concerned with my temper. Because first, although I speak in harsh tones I'm calm inside. Second, it is not my temper which is mainly causing this problem. You really need to see this is a matter of a fact. I was just strongly urging you to respond to my assertion first before you ask some from me.
"I give some suggestion.
If you really love Korea, it is better to try to be gentleman."
--> I already told you that this got nothing to do with patriotism or nationalism but about facts. If you tell me that I did not behave like a gentleman, I say "look who's talking"
"You know I am reporter and will write this international conversation to many Japanese.
I believe that most Korean are educated and polite like most Japanese."
--> good. However, how am I supposed to know you are a reporter or not unless you tell me first.
"I could not find the article that indicates ICJ can not give an eminently fair decision."
--> Again, I already have suggested you to search Omni-Amni News programme of MBC (a TV broadcasting company in Korea) What you need is there. And I also said I didn't remember the exact date but it's somewhere in March. Again, Answer my Question please. If ICJ give a fair decision just based on facts anyway, why do we need all those japanese lobbyist trying to influence the atmosphere? It is obvious that it'll become a matter of money and power, not truth. I think Japan is well aware of this since they are practicing it. Why do Koreans have to go through all the expected risks when Dokdo belongs to them.
"Even so, I will not vote Japanese right-wing side when election comes.
I am a pacifist and not nationalist."
-->good. Though I don't like the term 'pacifist'. What is that anyway? Do we really have something in common? If we do why don't you be a globalist? In this sense, I am a humanitarian. And are they really the right-wing politicians? To me they are criminals. In Korea or any other nations, if one tries to justify a crime or cover a crime will be treated as a criminal too. Maybe not in japan.
"If you want to believe me your story, then you must show me some conclusive proof.
But I recommend you that you should aim to change many Japanese mind (not me)."
--> good suggestion. You say my assertion needs more proof, but I don't agree. It's not about how many proofs I offer to you or other japanese, it's about japanese attitude who always refuses to see. If you are really ready to know the truth and looking forward seeing th truth, why don't you/japanese go to Tokyo museum or why don't you go and search omni amni news or why don't you go and check how many lobbyist are under mission in UN to deceive other nation. It just proves that japanese are ignorant and indiffernt about this issue. See, it is not my obligation to feed you all with this information. They are ubiquitous. Nowdays, if you are interested you can get most of them easily. They are not 'The X-Files' or anything.
"I hope you accept my message."
--> got my message?
"I will also try to find good future in my way.
Of cause, I will listen to your assertion."
-->I feel the same. And I appriciate that.
nevertheless I showed you several different ways to find the proofs, if you don't search them yourself afterwards, what can i say mor?
And one more thing. I share this conversation with my classmates. They all say 'shame on Japan.' They all know dokdo belongs to Korea, not japan. It is clearly a non-issue.
I wanna say 'Well done' to japanese lobbyists and politicians who tries so hard to 'make' Dokdo to be considered as a territorial issue.
maybe they forgot the fact they actually used to draw maps showing Dokdo as a Korean territory for hundreds of years.
