History of the establishment of NPO CAFEhttp://jp.youtube.com/v/EYs075O3oa4NPO CAFE is the abbreviation of “Non-Profit Organization, Computer Aided Forum by Senior Engineer”. In various study meetings organized by fabrication companies, where veteran engineers (who have been involved in the designing and development of products) serve as coordinators, professors of Tokyo University, Kogakuin University (or Tokyo Urbantech), and of other universities also take part as lecturers quite often. The objective of this CAFE is to support/assist the resolution of problems that young and middle-aged backbone engineers are facing. The main reason for the establishment of CAFE was the situation where the opportunities for engineers to transfer their technical skills to third parties have been drastically reduced. |
