March 26, 2012Why people want to know new things? Consciousness-” (Part 3)

Can you define consciousness? Yes, I can! Sofar, it has been too difficult for the philosophers and religionists to solve, even if they would have been scientists before knowing the brain structure.Originally, philosophy was the interdisciplinary study region with unlimitedcoverage. But the university education system was changed to the departmentsystem for the efficiency not knowing the basic importance of generalmathematics. Thanks to it people became ignorant about how to infer logically. That’s why in such highly advanced society semantics is still undeveloped. Herelet’s try to think of it in plain expressions to avoid ambiguity.

Firstly let’s compare three situations fromscientific viewpoint;

a) He was frying his watch instead of eggunconsciously.

b) After dinner with wine she fell into deepsleep and lost consciousness.

c) He regularly wakes up after sleeping forfour hours and goes to the rest room.

She is touching her hairs unconsciously. Hetouches the table on his elbow. We can often see these scenes and call thesebehaviors as personal habits. We don’t notice our own habits by ourselves butdo if somebody points them. Why do these things occur? Is such unconscious actioncaused by carelessness? Consciousness is often confused with awareness. Why?

Generally speaking, if you see some ambiguousthings, there are some reasons hidden in the deeper level. You don’t notice thereasons just because you don’t know them. Consciousness is the typical example. The late Nobel laureate F. Crick, who discovered the double spiral structure ofDNA with J. Watson, advocated the scientific study of consciousness so thatsome associations such as ASSC and TSC were organized.

I have attended both of them held at variousplaces over the world for several times making presentations and discussions. But every time I was disliked for the most participants were psychologists, philosophers and psychiatrists. I was exceptionally unique mathematicalphysicist among the people who disliked mathematics. Therefore it was natural.

However, every time I was lucky improving mybilingual ability and obtaining the opportunity to think of the pride andprejudice. Whenever and wherever I traveled, I met many kind and friendlypeople and thanks to them I discovered the communication inevitably necessaryto self recognition. Moreover, I understood why the teachers want to behavearrogantly to the students. The poorer are the teachers and doctors, thestronger they desire to behave arrogantly.

You are asking when I’m coming back to themain theme? I’ll be right soon. As people grow up and become adult, they arecompared with others and notice they have not enough knowledge. Though they wina high social position, their knowledge is insufficient and they behavearrogantly to keep up appearances. When playing tennis and making a mistake, they would shout “Oh hell!” wanting to have their partner be heard.

The words spoken unconsciously are spoken fromone’s heart. The unconscious actions are taken by one’s heart. When sleeping, consciousness disappears. In case of accident when getting hard hit at the backhead, the patient may suffer a concussion and loose consciousness. How doesconsciousness relate with the heart or the senses or the real mind? This knowledgeoffers the crucial key to the question, ”Why do people want to know new things?”

Therefore, what I carried out was to infer thecontents of the DNA program by perusing the formation procedures of various organsof the body including the brain. What is the mechanism of consciousness andwhere is the location that involves the knowledge obtaining? The answer Iobtained was the cerebellum system consisting of cerebellum, corpus callosum, and medulla oblongata. The clear plot I obtained was the cerebrum system that thediencephalon controls and monitors the heart and the lungs via the autonomicnerve system and accumulates memories on the cerebrum as the master personalityagainst the cerebellum system as the slave personality.

The organs that have the huge number ofneurons are these three of cerebrum, cerebellum, and corpus callosum. For along time only cerebral physiology has been made much of, and the researchershave not been noticing the roles of cerebellum nor corpus callosum though theyare full of neurons either. The mechanisms of the pattern informationprocessing that are necessary for learning and recognition and learning itselfwere hidden there.

March 22, 2012Why people want to know new things?” (Part 2)

Actually, the hint had already been presented. Nobody noticed it just because ofignorance. That’s the golden theorem! Let’s take a short change of subject. Twodays ago the last drama of “Police Officer Partner” series was on air on thetheme of the clone human baby. But the ending was too easy showing thestillborn baby. I love him and want to have his baby. It’s the common instinctprovided for every woman. The marriage is different.

Thanks tothis instinct all the humans and animals have been able to survive. In thedrama the heroin wants a baby of the dead man using the cloning technology. It’dbe possible only if his DNA is preserved. But the serious misunderstandings arehidden. The first one is about the love. The falling in love at first sight istypical example of the sexual impulsive passions that are formed in the mind makinghim or her blind and different with the rational desires.

The emotionof liking him or her often becomes too strong. This means she or he is in love. But when they get babies, many men often tend to lose the heat showing theirinterest to other women. As the proverb “Love makes the young blind” tells, thoseloving boys cannot pay attention to the other things. They behave thoroughlyself-centered based on the survival instinct. It’s just because the instinct asa male generates strong desire to scatter the sperms to as many females aspossible.

On thecontrary, girls are born with the finite number of eggs that cannot avoid thedamage from aging effect if they miss and become past marriageable age. As thefreshness is required for the edible eggs, the eggs of women and the frozensperms can be damaged by aging. Also it is known from the fact the normal cellcan suffer the cancer that the complex DNA strand can be damaged by the cosmicrays, the natural radiation, and the radical oxygen.

Although thelate child-bearing is known as highly risky, the risk by aging is not known.

Objection! I guess the DNA has the self-repairingfunction. Is it the reason each genome has a pair? What is the DNA at all? Isit the collection of genes? What is the gene, then? Can you define it?

That’s goodquestion. Sure! Today the concept of the gene is about to change drastically. The review of the intron is on the base and the gene recombination there causesthe occurrence of changes. The intron is never junk. We’ve come back to themain theme after a long detour and are able to show you the conclusion from theinferring method combining the uncertainty principle of physics and logics ofmathematics.

That is theidea that the ES cell with the complete set of DNA’s becomes the bio-computerbased on the biochemical reactions. But you have said DNA is the program code.Isn’t it inconsistent? No! This is again the two-facedness! The intronconstructs the database of the three dimensional Turing machine!

On thishypothesis the food search activity of those unicellular transformableorganisms such as amoeba and slime mold can be explicated. Furtherconsideration leads to the human body construction including the brain to becarried out along the programmed work schedule. Despite that the DNA has beenfully mysterious from the origin taking a long historical time, this simplebasic hypothesis can solve every mystery about the mechanism and consciousnessof the brain and mind.

In additionto this hypothesis, we assume the computers in an organ construct a networkcomputer by synchronization. At the end of the neuronal tube, the mostimportant diencephalon is formed and then these organs such as mesencephalon, thalamus, limbic system, cerebrum, and corpus callosum are to be constructedaround it. On the other hand, the cerebellum is formed to control the muscleswith the motor neurons. This cerebellum, the medulla oblongata, and the corpuscallosum become to the center of consciousness.

March 21, 2012Whypeople want to know new things?”(Part 1)

Let’s think of the biologicalevolution. Let’s think of why the livings were able to survive, instead of how theyevolved. They have been surviving because they have luckily been satisfying thesurvival conditions. Nowadays, all the livings on the earth are eukaryotes.Their origins were unicellular transformable organisms like amoeba or slimemold, and the modern livings are still succeeding their originalcharacteristics. Any question? Yes, please!

Q1. How are they succeeding?

A1. The information is writtenon the DNA sequences.

 Q2. Where is it written?

A2. It is written over the whole DNA sequences even on the partscalled intron that are never junk. Some old textbooks say more than 70% of theDNA is useless junk but they are wrong. Besides, the concept of the gene iswrong! The crucial key is the intron.

Q3. Why do the chimps have the24 pairs of chromosomes one pair more than the humans?

A3. It’s because the humans had dropped the one pair that caused losingthe tail and the synthesizing ability of the vitamin C together. Instead, theyobtained the higher power of running. Since they had neither strong nails norstrong fangs anyway, their fate might have been exterminated by being eaten bythe many predators. But they could run fast on the two legs. It was the abilityto be acquired if they utilize the cerebellar neural network by learning it andtraining themselves.

The first ES cell completed inthe fertilized egg divides in to two cells. It is the self copying process. Thetotal number of cells would reach the order of billion if they repeat thisprocess about 30 times.

Q4. Why can they possibly makeperfect self-copy with no errors?

A4. It is because the self-copyis performed according to the precisely programmed process. And the programcode is written on the DNA by four characters of A, T, G, and C as acryptogram. The problem is whether this cryptogram can be deciphered or not. That is why any researcher who is involved with the DNA becomes inclined todecipher it. The big projects such as the National Genome Project are almostcompleting the reading of whole DNA codes of various organisms.

Many bio-technologists are examiningthe changes and effects by rearranging the so-called genes that are the partsof DNA. However, the whole aspect is not known yet. There is no clue at all whenand how a switch is turned on. Then, mathematics comes up on the stage.

Three young researchers of thegraduate school of mathematics of Nagoya University were awarded a prize by someapparel maker for the beautiful Buddhism patterns made from colored DNA. Theytried to obtain some hint from the visual patterns if possible, for they knew thefamous four color separation problem of any map.

However, they obtained no cluefrom the colored patterns. Now only the short sequence called codon isdistinguished as a symbol of separation function. At a sudden, however, the DNAmystery was solved. Though the author had not deciphered the DNA cryptogramyet, why can he insist he had solved the mystery and the DNA mechanism?

There is a famous proverb thatif you want to obtain the top general, you must target his horse first. Theauthor had first made a new inferring method consisting of repeating algorithmof inferring and finding some clues by setting some half boiled assumption. Ashe narrowed the encircling net, eventually he reached the astonishing conclusiveidea. Is it really? Is it true? He had to doubt it and ask himself.

Despite of the hard works formany years, the conclusion was surprisingly too simple against the fact thecontents of the brain are too complex. That is the two-facedness again!

March 20, 2011, “A ring tells about true love"

Dearest Laura! I have big news with tears!
Eventually, I discovered what the word love means!
A woman was just lucky having survived the big tsunami with her infant daughter, but a week later her husband was found in the mud. When she was sorting through the messy items she found a ring which reminded her that she had complained to him in the past saying, "You've never bought me anything …"  He had intended the ring for her.
Do you know that Japanese has two similar words for love? My thought is to distinguish true love from so-called sexual love. I conclude from my theory of the mechanism of the brain that sexual love is based on one's innate instincts to fulfill the desire to own the loved object. According to this instinct and being absorbed too much by it, young people become blind. It produces one-way love and the feelings of love are replaced by hatred when betrayed.  If the desire is satisfied in a couple of years, the feelings of love disappear and change to another object.
On the other hand, true love is basically different from sexual love, and in this case the ring tells us the difference. This couple had established true love. He had intended to present the ring to her on their next wedding anniversary.  She can feel his love now and gently kisses his muddied, cold cheek while thanking him for the wonderful gift.
We know various forms of love: between lovers, between a married couple, among a family, a nation, and mankind, etc.  I also conclude that those who know the meaning of true love are willing to sacrifice their life for the safety and survival of others, not caring that their own life is at serious risk.
Now we are watching the rescue crews trying to cool down the nuclear reactors under high levels of radioactivity.  They are real heroes with great fighting spirit for their mission to protect their family and countrymen. They are demonstrating a strong will in fighting the effects of this serious accident caused by the recent natural disaster
Thank you for reading through the whole sentences. Hope you understand what I intended to say.
                        Fondest,
                                Katsuo Hasegawa
Big thunder flashed on 16th! Neural firework!
                                January 16, 2009
This is pretty big flash of inspiration! I'll make a brief explanation.

As a neuron is created and carried up to the brain, she must struggle with her body. Being watched by the secret police agents called glial cells, she must only wait for death unless she can find out a job of judgment in the network. She extends her hands asking for information. By chance, thankfully other neuronal and sensing cells respond and kindly pull down their hands (leggs) to her. Touching her body, they succeed to make synapses to offer the information. Her role is to make judgments and distribute the results to other cells.
The glial cells are now kind telling her the directions to extend her leggs and she is lucky enough to join the network society with full of love. What? Where is the firework? Let's interview her.

"Hi! Yeah, I can explode fireworks! Fire cracker! I can distribute my opinions to many people. In the electronics it's called FAN-OUT!"

Sorry but this might be a bit too special. The memory is the local decrease of information entropy in the process of information diffusion. The mystery of why the human beings can resist against the nature is solved! What a big firework it is! Isn't it?
