There is a song sung in Japanese, "LA JAPONAISE", in the album BARCELONA by Freddie Mercury.
Listening to the music, this piece was woven at once! Well, few days were taken, obviously…
Purple was put into the key tone for the mannish and pop color to express Japan.
Purple is considered as the noble color through all ages and countries, and purple were also
in Kani-junikai (Japanese constitution set by Shoutoku Taishi in Yamato Era).
There are Queen's music playing in some TV commercials, aren’t there?

BARCELONAというFreddie Mercuryのアルバムに、日本語で歌う『LA JAPONAISE』があります。
その曲を聴きながら一気に織り上げました、と言っても何日かは掛かっていますけど･･･。
マニッシュでポップな色を基調に、紫を入れて日本を表現してみました。
古今東西、紫は高貴な色とされおり、冠位十二階にもありました。
テレビコマーシャルでもクイーンの曲が流れていますね。

モネの作品にも「La Japonaise」（Madame Monet in Japanese Costume）というのがありました。
可笑しさを誘う雰囲気があります。
