　彼の代表的な詩であって、fminorop34 さんの紹介の中で、いろいろな人がこの詩に曲をつけている（彼の地では着メロにもなっているとのこと）とのことで、imeem.com で探してみると実にいっぱい有りました。フルに聴けるものをいくつか紹介します。

では、ロバート・バーンズのスコットランド方言まじりの詩を普通の英語に訳したものが掲載されています。

　ロバート・バーンズはスコットランド民謡の収集家でも有ったそうで、今でもスコットランドの新年に歌われる "Auld Lang Syne" は日本では『蛍の光』として、誰でも知っている曲ですね。
