Let’s Rediscover Japan November Meeting

Please tell me what you know or imagine about Thailand.
Some comments I heard were: a country of smiles, elephants, delicious food (tom yam kun!), beautiful nature, Buddhism, Thai boxing, traditional massage, warm hospitality, multi-cultural society - many different things.
I can confidently say, "Yes, that is all true. It is an amazing country!"
I stayed in Thailand for 7 years - from 1999 to 2006 - as an international coordinator for an international NGO operating educational programs for disadvantaged children in Thailand. After that, I studied business management for two years at the College of Management, Mahidol University, which is one of the best colleges in the business education field in Thailand. After graduating, I came back to Japan this past June.
I would like to share with you my experiences in this amazing country: warm, familiar people in urban slums and rural villages, elephants passing by in the streets of Bangkok (it's true!), people pursuing their dreams, peaceful dawns in rural villages, noisy markets - I could go on and on - with many pictures.
