Under darkness of night, Israeli commandoes boarded the Turkish passenger ship, Mavi Marmara, and began to shoot. According to the live video from the ship, two have been killed, and 31 injured. Al Jazeera has just confirmed the numbers. Israel says they are taking over the boats.

Under secrecy, Russia's first fifth-generation PAK FA fighter jet has successfully completed a test flight. Its appearance has now been revealed by Sukhoi, the plane’s manufacturer, which released footage of the flight.

Pukhov adds that the jet, being a cornerstone of Russian military hardware, will be used to display to the world Russia’s technological potential.

Russia will not be able to dictate prices on its exported fuel, experts of the Institute of Contemporary Development said in their report.

As a result, Russia may lose its status of the sole strategic partner for the CIS. China and the European Union have all chances to enter the market of the region instead of Russia.

Lebanon is grateful for Russia’s MiG-29 fighter jets, which Russia promised to give to the Mideastern country as a gift. However, Lebanese officials wonder whether the country really needs them. Lebanon tries to find out if Russia could replace the fighters with something else.
