ブログも当初は夫婦二人で群馬のラーメンを食べ歩き、ラーメンの味の口釈
をとやかく生意気に垂れる算段だったが、大阪に嫁いだ娘のUターン出産と育児見習い期間で長居することになった。と言ってもGちゃんではなくJチャンと呼ばせる予定の、可愛い孫娘を生まれたてのおさるさんのまま、（今の子は栄養がいいのか間もなくヒトになる）自動車なり電車なりで長時間揺らしたら、
体力のない新しい生命にいいことが、あるはずもない。気の毒なのは種元君で3月会議で上京した足で群馬まで来て、わが娘と涙の再会（出産の時は立ち会った）のはずだったが、無情にも中止になり、自腹で1泊2日の新幹線往復になった。初めてわが子を抱く種元君の姿を見ていると、いじらしいと言うか親子慈愛に満ちて、ドラマティックな素晴らしい2ショットであった。種元君。大阪で３人水入らずの生活も、そう遠くないよ。（昨年二人は大阪造幣局の桜の写真を送ってくれた。造幣局は今年桜の通り抜け６０周年を記念して6種の硬貨を販売する。）マァ我々もG.Wまではお互いラーメンを食う機会が減少することだから、腰周りがドンブリックシンドロームになることもあるまい。ドンブラコ、ドンブラコ、と腰を振って歩くこともあるまい。それに感受性の強い？潔癖症？で神経繊細？なため（マダムビーズはこの三つが欠如した姿が私だという）ここ3〜4年おこる花粉症がオカマ双生児のおすぎとピークに達し、鼻はぐじゅぐじゅ、目はかいかい。ラーメンを食べているとスープに洟の自家製スパイスが滴り落ちてしまう。塩っ気の足りないラーメンなら良い加減になるが、二枚目がお見せする姿ではない。しかし昨年は桜咲くシーズン、ずっと桜の陰で沈思黙考していたら、桜花粉症と言うロマンティック且つセレブな症状が続いた。桜の精が私にとり憑いて寄生してくれたのだ。鼻の中からグングン芽が出て、小枝が飛び出してくる感じだった。今年も奇妙な擬似体験できるシーズンが近づいてきた。
桜のシーズン、まんだら屋のラーメンを食することを「桜曼陀羅」と言う。
戸外は桜一色のまんだら。丼の中も美味でまんだら。人間感動すると声も出ない。仏様は肉を食べることを禁じたが、チャーシューは旨い。キリストの最後の晩餐に真っ赤なラーメンを食べさせたかった。痩せ細ったガンジーには牛のテールスープでラーメンを作ってやりたかった。マホメットには豚骨ラーメンを一口食べて欲しかった。皆うまい、うまいって食べたろうに。宗教で食べ物を禁じなくても、皆食べ過ぎなかったろうに。２１世紀に生きて桜とラーメンを存分に楽しめて両者に感謝。そして曼陀羅。To eat a season, a Chinese noodle at the Mandara shop in Sakura is called "Sakura Mandala".
