ワンタン喰って腹マンタンになるか。どの位喰ったらマンタンか。しかしその前に飽きるかも。なら塩ワンタン、醤油ワンタン、味噌ワンタンの三段攻撃なら喰えるかも。其の内ワンタンを嫌ッと言うほど喰ってみたい。具は勿論自家製で合わせ挽き肉（ブタ、鶏）。むきエビも叩いて二種類作れば飽きがこないかも。大食いの奴に喰わせたら（例えばギャルソネ）何十個の世界ではない何百個の領域だろう。奴等は噛まない飲み込み戦術だから、ワンタン大食いはTV企画として成立しないだろう。私のワンタンへの溺愛はかなり強いものがあるが、最近ウ〜ッと唸るワンタンにお目に？お口に掛からない。山形酒田市”満月“のワンタンは本当に旨かった。薄くて広げると向こうの景色が見えると言うのは嘘ではない。あの喉越しにはある種エクスタシーに似た朧な幻がある。近くにあれば何度でも行くが、いかんせん日本海の涯てじゃ中々行けない。

Hong Kongは読む時、ホンコンでいいのだがKing Kongはやはりキンコンでは迫力が伝わらない。玄関のチャイム音と一緒じゃ獰猛さ、恐怖も一瞬に失せてしまう。キングコングの読みは妥当であろう。同様にWang Tangもワンタンがいい。もしワングタングじゃどんな
不味いものかヘンに連想してしまう。英語で「ｇ」は発音しないことが多いようだが、例えばTong Kingもトンキンにならなくてよかった。やはり世界的大都市東京はTokyo という発音が世界に認知されて幸いした。まだ世界の隅々では東京は中国の一部だと信じている人がかなりいるようだが、もしトンキンで世界に広まったら、トーキョーは永遠に中国
と陸続きであったろう。
話しはワンタンのことを書きたかった。♪タイワン　タイワン　行きタイワン♪
♪食べたい　食べたい　ワンタンメン♪そんなCMソングがあったと思うが・・・・
（ない？）私はワンタンが好きで過去に５０軒位は食べたろうか。（因みにマダムビーズは広東麺がお好みである）当初は薄い皮のドロッとした喉越しが好きで、具にはあまり目も
舌も止めなかったが、近年中国人コックの作る具タップリのワンタンも、それはそれなりに旨いことが判ってきた。旨いワンタンには二通りある。超薄皮のドロッとしたタイプと具タップリの肉汁ワンタン。ワンタンへの拘りは自作して食べることも辞さないが、市販の皮で済ませてしまう。一番薄いシューマイの皮がいいと思ったが、原料が違った。餃子の皮では厚い。ワンタンの皮は多くのメーカーが扱っていないまだマイナーな分野なのだ。
その内自作の皮でチャレンジしたい。具は豚肉とムキエビの二種類が旨い。日本人の調理法は焼く、炒める、炊く、煮るetcの食文化は発達しているが、蒸す、茹でて加工し食べる習慣はまだこれからのように思う。肉が蒸されて、ブタまんになるあの旨さや茹でて凝縮
された肉の芳醇さが判るには、もう少し歳月が掛かるかも知れない。今まで私が食べて旨いと思ったワンタンメンは、酒田市の満月、太田市の王将、高崎のぞうさんﾗｰﾒﾝ。皆皮が
超薄かった。その食後表現は清流の段差で静かに落下する絹の如く。滑り込む喉へのツルッが堪らない。因みに私はスープの味は横に置いといて切麺ではない手延ばしﾗｰﾒﾝも好きな麺である。食は広東に在り。さすが広東人、ワンタンを雲呑と書く。北京や四川では他の呼び名のようだが具が多いことは共通しているようだ。先程もワンタンはメジャーになれずにいると書いたが、超薄皮、極上品の美味しい本庄市の「とんじるし」はワンタンメンを止めた。「ぞうさんﾗｰﾒﾝ」のワンタンメンも店主がもう止めようかと思っていると嘆いた。手間の掛かるわりにオーダーが少ないためである。出来ればどの店でも置いて欲しい。
