カレー粉の香薫でもって己の加齢臭を隠そうと思っている訳ではない。しかし前々から2大国民食の融合、カレーラーメンとやらを食べてみたかった。それも群馬では草分け的存在、「松屋軒」で食べてみたかった。幾つか近辺で食べてみたが、決して満足した訳ではない。これじゃカレーうどんに適わない。
伊達や酔狂で食べるカレーラーメンは愚の骨頂。あの個性的な風味とまったりした淀みあるカレー粉に、軟弱なラー麺が耐えられる訳がない。太麺、長持ち麺が出た日にはうどんとなんら変わりない。その辺をカレーラーメンの先駆け「松屋軒」はどのように勝負賭けてくるのか、夜のみ営業の前橋まで、いざ出陣したのだった。決してまったりではないが、いや、熱い、スパイスが効いている。汗ダク苦戦、喉カラカラ、啜ると咳き込む。しかしパワーつきそう。パソコン疲れの腕からみるみるうちに、疲労が抜け活力が漲ってくる。左手に力瘤を入れボリュームたっぷりの一杯を食らっていると、もう全身パワー全快。華麗なsakurajinyapooがカレーパンに変身してしまった。（私の好物はカレーパンなのだ！）「耳から加齢臭は出るんだよ」マダムビーズがよく言う空知識をひけらかす。
両耳も腋の下も全身もうカレー臭。しかし東京駅BFで食べた「古奈屋」のカレーうどんは絶品で、汁まで飲み干してまだ飲み足りなかった。あの味がある以上カレーラーメンは相当の苦戦を強いられそうだ。

上州手打ラーメン

３月○×日。久しぶりにマダムビーズとショッピング、食べ歩きに出掛けた。やっと長女のベイビー扱いが(私には初孫)手慣れてきたためである。マダムビーズも初孫とベイビートークするせいか、口調が優しくなり小言が少なくなってきた。行き先は｢ららん藤岡｣で、ここには定期的に竹酢を購入に来る。ここのが｢道の駅｣の中で一番安く一番効くのを売っているからだ。｢道の駅｣は前橋の野菜が一番安く一番新鮮、大胡のソフトクリームは牛乳が豊富で旨い。又、子持の｢道の駅｣のソーメン蒟蒻はダイエット食の中で一番旨い。ラーメン食べ歩きのついでに幾多の「道の駅」も巡回する。竹酢はウソの「あるある大辞典」（TV）が花粉症に効くと言うので、放映の晩探し回った。竹酢はこれまたデマ情報と改竄データなのか、花粉症には一向に効かなかったが、子供達や親戚のアトピーには効力があったらしいので勘弁してやる。「ららん藤岡」に出店している地獄ラーメン(大勝園)の様子を窺っていると、マダムビーズに呼付けられた。花を買うから竹酢と一緒に車に持ってってくれと言う。しかし腰をモジモジさせてトイレに行きたいと言い出す。花が先かトイレが先か。選んだ花はそう水仙。「すいゃせん！」「ららん藤岡」ではオーストラリア｢エミュ｣の卵（大きさ１２cm位、重さ３００ｇ位）が￥３０００で売っていた。１９９３オーストラリアに行った時、食べたような気もするが記憶にない。ワニ、ウォンバット(大鼠)、カンガルーetcは食べたがワニは絶品で是非又食べたい。(名古屋コーチンに近い歯ごたえ)　残念ながらコアラは食えなかった。ランチラーメンは「ららん藤岡｣近辺にある｢上州手打ラーメン｣にした。高崎市沖町にもある系列店には２～３年前、１５年ぶりに金原亭寿限無氏とやっと探し当てた。昔旨いと思い、長い間場所が特定出来ず行けずにいた。同じチェーン店でも味は違う。丼の大きさや形は同じだった。お互いアイデアマン店主であることも共通しているようだ。高崎はラーメン丼の中に花火をパチッパチッさせて運んで来る。子供が喜ぶ変り種ラーメン屋としてTVにもでていた。かたや藤岡は大辛ラーメン完食のお客には、ポラロイド撮影して店内壁に貼布するサービスを実施中だった。BGMも昼間から演歌ギンギンで大衆酒場風である。しかし藤岡ラーメンも１５年位前は｢むらちゃんラーメン｣の店主が先頭に立って、全国に藤岡ラーメンを宣伝していたが、

チャイニーズレストランシンドローム

我礫：美術品のように綺麗なこの盛り付けに注目！

昨年メタボリックシンドローム（２００６流行語大賞。ブログは2005流行語大賞）がマスコミを席捲し、私の出っ張り出したお腹に稲妻の衝撃を与えた。一年毎に体重は１kgづつ増え続け、昨年は最大７５kgまでに。（ほとんど悲鳴）腹囲も９２cmまでいった。（ほとんど絶叫）と言うより来たという感じ。3～4ヶ月は壁にホワイトボードを取り付け、体重腹囲のグラフチェックに取り掛かった。たまに１kg・１cm誤魔化しては偽りの安心を装った。本腰を入れようと９：００以降の炭水化物を控えたり、散歩なども考えたがウチにはブタはいるけど、犬がいない。猫はいるけど豚はいる。やはぁ？とんでもない！｢マダム・ピッグ・・・｣い、いやちがう、ま、まちがい・・マダムビーズのことを言っているんじゃありません。何年か前は毎晩マダムビーズと３０分位家周辺を散歩して、心身健康、体重ベストだったのだが、ヤレ花粉症、ヤレ春先に成ってからなんて近年は延び延びになった。お陰で私は内臓脂肪ビッシリ、かたや皮下脂肪ムッチリ。金は溜まらず脂が溜まった。この重いままでは、亡くなった時棺桶を担ぐ人がたいへんだろうナ、又脳梗塞で倒れたら腕で抱えられず、蹴飛ばして動かすんだろうナ。てなことを考えて、力士の親族達に同情したが、彼らには似たような体型の力自慢が仰山いる訳だからねぇ～？そんな訳で昨年末から飲食物の量に気を使い、腹筋背筋etcストレッチに精を出し、その成果が2/２０現在体重７０kg腹囲８９cmになっていた。一時の減量ではなくここ何週間か、弛んだ頬筋は引き締まり、腹のダブつきも締まってきた。本人が言うんだから間違いない。ここで使用前使用後の比較写真をお見せできないのは残念である。と言うことで今日は健康志向のラーメン、セロリラーメンとやらを食べるはずだった。しかし残念ながら「老虎閣」に喜び勇んで、開店同時に入店したが｢本日は作らない｣非情なフェイントにあい「これが食べたくて来たのだが・・・・」又来ますと丁重に挨拶して他に行くことにした。人口の少ない町で特殊なメニューは中々育たない。回転の良いメニューオンリーになるのは致し方ない。メニューに最初から載せないでくれれば有難いのだが・・・・。いつか食べられる日を期待して前橋で一番ブレイクしている「我礫」に行った。ここは味よし接客よし値段よし、もうひとつおまけに盛り付けよし、文句のつけようがない優良店である。しかしちょっと気になったのは食後舌が痛くなった。私の舌先三寸の問題がらーめん温度か、それとも化調のせいかとなる。これから書くことは｢我礫｣と関係なく書くので混同されるとお互い心外である。世の中ラーメンは無化調の方向へ序々に進んでいるが、この旨味を使うお陰で原価的にも味覚的にも皆助かっている。あれだけ食材にうるさいラーメンの鬼佐野実さんだって、化調否定派ではない。大量にラーメンが出るお店では便利で不可欠なものであろう。しかし身体やその一部に弊害や異変が起こるなら、使用を控えるか、控え目に抑えて提供すべきであろう。手抜き・原価的な故に大量に使われると、時代を逆行していくことになる。２０年前佐野市のあるラーメン屋で丼に大匙1～2杯入れる現場を目撃した。佐野醤油ラーメンは薄口仕上げであるだけに化調は多めに必要なのかも知れない。味の素の広告にはラーメン丼一杯に1gが理想と謳い、醤油ダレ５０人分（１．６L）に対しハイミー５２gと書かれているが、これで旨いラーメンが出来る訳がない。塩ラーメンのブレや味の薄い傾向の商品には、濃い目のラーメン味噌より、余分に入れられる傾向はあるでしょう。人口的作られる味ではなく、出来れば自然に仕上がる真のラーメンの味をしっかり噛み締めたいですね。*チャイニーズレストランシンドロームにならないためにも。（＊1968アメリカで騒がれた、化調取りすぎと思われる上半身がほてる、つっぱる、シビレ感のある症状をいう）Metabolic Syudrome (2006 vogue word grand prize. 「ミス・リバティじゃない？ミスター・リバティで悪いかよ。」

陽気軒の心意気。チャーシューはビッグサイズ、餃子もビッグサイズ。

チャーシューメンをわざわざ注文する年齢はすぎたが、ラーメンをオーダーしてチャーシューが乗っていないのは許せない。後ろから不意に頭をポカンと叩かれたのに等しい。不機嫌極まりない。ラーメンにチャーシューは定番。暗黙の了解がありと思いきや鉄の鉄則、人の道に反するルールを守らないラーメン店主がいる。メニューを見て注文し、目の前に届いたラーメン丼にチャーシューが乗っていないと、「あれ？チャーシュー入れ忘れたかな？」とか｢スープの中に潜っちゃうほど小さいのかよぅ｣とか必死に探してしまう。そこにあるべき姿が見えない戸惑いと憤りがある。そしてそれが忘れたものではなく、最初から入る予定がなかった掟破りの現実に直面した時、「エイヤァ」の掛け声と共にチャブニード５の怒りを覚えるのだ。（チャブニードとは野瀬泰申氏が唱える、
巨人の星：星一徹が卓袱台をひっくり返す怒り度を表す）「なんだnandaナンダ。俺を誰だと思ってるんだ。俺は肉が好きでラーメンを頼んでいるんだDaダ・・・(ドモリも過激)｣コマ切れにしたチャーシューを申し訳程度にパラパラと入れるラーメン屋もある。「エイヤァ」掛け声やや小さくそれでもチャブニード４位だ。俺はでかくなくてもいい、一口サイズでアングリと口の中に頬張れる、チャーシューを食べるのが楽しみなのだ。味は二の次、旨いに越したことは無いが、とにかく肉がなければいけない。こういう裏切り店主は信仰に似たお客のチャーシューに対する、こよなき愛情と慈しみを理解していない。ラーメンとお客に対する冒涜以外の何物でもない。処刑はやりすぎだが、お尻をぺん！ぺん！三回位は叩いて気付かせてやらないといけない。客商売をしていながら、客に喜んで貰おうという基本的なサービス精神が欠如している人に、ラーメン屋になる資格はない。医は算術同様｢ラ｣も算術になっては世も末だ。よく塩ラーメンを頼むとこの惨劇に出会う。味噌ラーメンやタンメンetcにはないという心構えが最初にあるが、｢塩｣はラーメン屋にとって曖昧ゾーンなのか？「なら、チャーシューメンを頼めばいいじゃん？」傲慢な店主はこうのたまう。詐欺まがい店主はことの重大さに気付いていない。たった一切れのチャーシューを商売道具に掲げて、情というものに無頓着すぎる。チャーシューを入れないなら、断り書きをメニューに入れろつーの！すればそのラーメンはオーダーしない。写真入りのメニューにしろっつーの！ないのが分かればオーダーしないで、トットと店を出るつーの！（どこかビートたけし風言い回し）チャーシューたった一枚いれないんなら、その位の注意書きはしろよ。道端に潜んでていきなり、
