Brett is sooo adorable!!!! He was probably in the bathroom when they called Suede lol...

omg he is so young.. and he so looks like he is on something when they call him up..


that's because they were on SERIOUS cocaine habits during this time. I'm currently reading the Love and Poison Suede biography, and so far pages 70ish to 120ish is about nothing but cocaine/music making and cocaine/touring. It's crazy!

Oh cool! ive been trying to get that book. What does it say about the love triangle betweeen Brett, Damon and Justine??? I always wanted to know lol!


It's kind of a bad story. Albarn would flurt with Justine during their gigs when the two bands were on the indie circuit.
Justine went for Albarn because of his looks, because Blur were on the way to success at the time and Justine wasn't getting to put enough of her own input in the band (Suede) when she was in it.


Alot of the songs from the first album are about Justine after she left (it was her leaving for Damon that gave Bret the determination to make better music). I really recommend getting the book.
