子供の頃、パット・ブーンの甘い歌声の「エイプリル・ラブ（４月の恋）」を聴く度に胸をときめかせていたものでした。青春の日々の甘酸っぱい４月の恋に憧れを抱いていました。
青春の年頃になって現実には悲しきかな４月の恋はありませんでした・・・。
今でも巷に桜や様々な花が咲き乱れる４月になるといつもこのエイプリル・ラブが心の中に聴こえてきます。
