A Great Voyage

On the 2 of October 2005 the Swedish Ship Götheborg departed from Göteborg Harbour for its two year long journey to China.
Tuesday July 18th the Götheborg arrived in Guangzhou, China, and just over a month later she has reached Shanghai. Following a short stop in the industrial harbour of Baoshan the Swedish Ship Götheborg continued her passage towards the quay in central Shanghai. Wednesday there were a lot of activities, on board as well as ashore. Guests visited the ship and ashore there was a Friendship Village, the SOIC Village and a number of exhibitions and performances.

DHL EXEL, working as a lead logistics provider for this worldwide project, helped organizer to manage all containers with exhibition materials within scheduled lead time.

DHL EXEL SHANGHAI Seafreight Office also provided 20 pallets and two 20-feet containers cost-free so that organizer could handle unexpected coming exhibition goods from Euro.
