今日は一日家でゆっくりしたいと思います。

☆昨日と一昨日は山形の方にいてました。金曜日の朝から教会の集会に行って、それから山形市のＡＬＴの友達と会って一緒にバスに乗って仙台に行きました。山形にはスタバはないからバスから降りたらすぐバニラ・クリーム・フラッパチーノを飲みに行きました。そして買い物したりしました。夕飯はメキシカンを食べたくて、デル・ソールっていうメキシコ料理屋さんを見つけて入りました。でもこの店の料理は多分日本人が好きな味のつもりで作ってますね。私たちにはあまり美味しくなかったです。例えば鶏肉は皮と膏をついたまま出されました。とにかくちょっとがっかりしましたが、ここは日本だから仕方ないですね。＾＾食事終わったらサーティーワンに向かって歩いたらナイスな音楽が聞こえてきました。ＨＭＶの前に外国の男性が立っていて自分たちのアルバムをＰＲしていました。あまりにも良い曲で新しいアルバムを買っちゃいました。Monkey Majikっていって日本人2人、カナダ人2人の男性グループです。英語・日本語でも歌ってて、私はそういう英語・日本語をミックスした曲が好きなんです。Crystal Kay とか Def Tech とかね。でも家に帰ってＣＤを聞くとやっぱりＨＭＶで聞いたの以外いい曲は少ないです。(TOT)

☆昨日友達の英会話の人達との芋煮会がありました。あまり楽しくなかったです。芋煮あまり好きじゃないし、英会話の人は結構シャイで話が進みませんでした。多分私たちがいたので英語で話さなきゃだめだって思っていて黙っていたんじゃないかと思います。丸くなって座って食べてたので皆で話すプレッシャーがあったかもしれないけど、隣の人と別の話をしていいんじゃないかと思いましたね。その後4人でプリクラを取ってアイスを食べてバイバイしました。山形に住んでいたらいいな。山形のＡＬＴの方が話しが合うし、庄内の人はお酒しか考えられないみたいな感じでイヤです。

☆今日も休みだけど、今朝閉町式に出ました。ほとんどつまらなかったけど、最後に町民歌を皆で歌ってちょっと悲しかったです。この町には1年位しか住んでいないが、温海町がなくなるっていうのは私にとっても残念なことです。なんか寂しいです。

眠いから昼寝でもしようかな・・・とりあえずこの記事を英語でも書いてみます。

Today I'm just gonna stay home and take it easy allllllll day!! Finally.

☆Yesterday and the day before I went to Yamagata. On Friday morning there was a church thing that we were late to and left early from and so didn't really get much out of it. Then I met my friend Jamie in the afternoon and we hopped on a bus to Sendai for the evening. There's no Starbucks in Yamagata, so the first thing we did when we got off the bus was go get Vanilla Creme Fraps at the station. I put some cinnamon in mine and it was really yummmmmy!! Then we went shopping and I bought some clothes and another JPLT book. We wanted to have Mexican and we found this place called Del Sol, but it was very Japanesey, so wasn't my favorite. I got a chicken quesadilla and the chicken still had the skin and fat on it of course. Oh well, next time we'll go for Indian I guess. :-P We decided to make up for the "dinner" by going to Baskin Robins for ice cream. On our way we heard some really cool music as we passed the HMV store. We stopped to listen some more and decided to buy a CD together. I never buy CDs, so this was a special occasion. Two of the guys from the group were there signing CDs and stuff, so we talked to them a little and found out they were from Canada. They were really nice. They're called Monkey Majik, which is a pretty stupid name and they're not famous or anything, but I like the mix of English and Japanese in their songs. Although, when we got home and listened to the whole album there were only a few good songs on it....At least we bought it together so it was cheap. ^^

☆Yesterday we went to an imonikai with Jen's Eikaiwa class. It was a lot less fun than I thought it was gonna be. I don't really like imoni and the Eikaiwa people barely talked at all. I think they thought since we were there they had to speak English the whole time or something. We were all sitting in a circle eating, so maybe people felt like we all had to talk as a group or something, but I wanted them to just talk in smaller groups and to each other and stuff, but all the converesation was focused on us, so it was a little awkward. Eventually it ended and the 4 of us went to take purikura and have ice cream. Jamie and I said goodbye to Jen and Chris and went to play in a park. It was quite fun and made me feel like a kid again. :-P I really like Yamagata and the ALTs there. Sometimes I wish I was there instead of Shonai....

I'm too tired to keep writing. No one's reading this anyway, right? :-P
