普段化粧しない私がメークのモデル？

昨日メークのモデルになったのです！友達の親戚が美容師でメークのコンテストがあってモデルになってくれる人を探していました。なかなか見つからなくて友達から頼まれました。

昨日行って以外と楽しかったです。私は普段あまりメークしないので、新経験でした。友達から聞くとその親戚の人（Ｙさん）が外国の人を探していたということだから、外国人のモデルを連れてくる人もいるかと思ったのです。でも会場に行ったら私外国人ひとりでした。

最初はちょっと不安でしたけど、メークをしてもらってとても気持ち良くてリラークスしました。眠くなりますよね！私の肌はあまりきれいじゃないし、上の唇もないって言えるぐらいうすいし、Ｙさんに申し訳ないなと思いました。でも、コンテストのジャージに「プロモデルさんですか？」と言われたんです。本気で言ってなかったと思うけど、少し嬉しかったです。

このコンテストに14人が入っていました。この中から4人が選べらて、次の新潟におけるコンテストに行くことができるそうです。でもそのコンテストは月曜日に行われるので私はいけません。今日結果が出て、Ｙさんが選ばれちゃってまたモデルさんを探さなくてはなりません。

Yesterday I was a model in a make up contest. My friend’s distant relative is a hair dresser and she entered this contest and was looking around for a face model. It was kind of short notice, so she couldn’t find anyone willing to do it, so I said I would.

It was really fun. I usually don’t wear make up, so this was a different experience for me. My friend said that the lady was looking for a foreign person to be her model, so I thought other contestants would have foreign models as well, but I was the only one.

I was a little nervous at first, but it felt really good having someone put make up on me, so I relaxed right away. It also makes you kind of sleepy ne! I don’t really have very clear skin and I barely have an upper lip, among other things, so I kind of felt bad for Y-san that she only had me to work from. But then the instructor came by and asked if I was a professional model. I think she was just being polite since I’m white and stuff, but it still made me happy.

Four of the 14 people were chosen to go to the next competition in Niigata later this month. Y-san was chosen, but unfortunately it’s on a Monday, so I can’t go. I’m going to help her look for another model, but I think It’ll be hard to find someone.
