Pickpoketers

I am a fan of The Prodigy.
And I registerd to their site.
So, I received their site's message sometime.

Today I got some interesting message.
At first, I didn't understand that this message say.

Especially I didn't understand the meaning of "pickpoketer" and "valuables".
I search these words in dictionary in iPhone.
And finally I got meaning

Pickpoketers are usually steall valuables!

The original message is below.


"There has been a serious problem with pickpocketers at the last three arena shows.

We are taking measures to eliminate these people but to limit their opportunity make sure you leave any non-essential valuables at home and any you do bring make sure they are secure.

Please note, no ones safety has been at risk. These are pickpocketers.

The Prodigy Management."

Today,I'm very suprised that the pronunciation about "stationary" and "stationery"
are parfectly same!
Both meanings are different,of course


stationary　静止している

stationery　文房具

両方ともなんか発音が似ていると思ったら、
発音記号を見る限り全く同じ、であった。

英語漬け

＜英語学習について＞
どうも最近たるみ始めていて、
このままでは今年の目標「洋画を字幕なしで見る」が達成不可能。
なのでチューニング。



●現在

・家から最寄駅まで往復２０分　＝英語のpodcastを聞く
・駅から会社まで往復２０分　＝英語のpodcastを聞く

・家で英語のゲームをプレイ０〜６０分だが正味０〜３０　＝知らない単語は極力調べる
・英語のＣＳ番組を見る　１５分
・英語教室週に１回くらい（６０分）

合計：週に7時間くらい


●改良案

・家から最寄駅まで往復２０分　＝英語のpodcastを聞く
・駅から会社まで往復２０分　＝英語のpodcastを聞く

・家で英語のゲームをプレイ０〜６０分だが正味０〜３０　＝知らない単語は極力調べる
・英語のＣＳ番組を見る　１５分
・英語教室週に１回くらい（６０分）

◇朝の通勤で単語復活：３５分くらい
◇仕事の休み時間に英語の記事を読む：１５分以上
◇iKnowを寝る前にやる：１０分くらい

合計：週１２時間くらい


これじゃあ、足りないかもしれないが、
これ以上増やすのは負担がでかい

Kumano kodo is world heritage

Last year, I went to "Ise Zingu" , most oldest Shrine in Japan.
And I went to "Kumano Kodo", it's a very old road reading to Ise Zingu.
Kumano Kodo is World heritage.
Only two loads accepte the World heritage.
One is Kumano Kodo and another is the road of Spain, that is for pilgrimage.
Kumano Kodo is to. This road is almost for pilgrimage.
In the Edo era, most of people have only one chance to travel.
And only this chance is travel to Ise Zingu.
They called this travel "Oise mairi".
"mairi" meams "pray".
So "Oise mairi" is Japanese pilgrimage.
