Man is no more than a reed, which is the weakest in nature.
But he is thinking reed.
Pascal said this term about 300 years ago.
We should keep it in mind and apply in various circmstances.
For example, when we see a man who laugh loudly we would think that he is crazy.
But he may express something by laughing loundly or cannot help laughing loudly by having experienced something sad.
Therefore we should not condemn his behave as strange but try to understand his behave ; otherwise the more thing we experience, the stranger we regard it as.
We must not fail to think or our view becomes more and more narrow-minded.
