私の敬愛する台湾出身の「日本画家」郭雪湖さんの作品を紹介しています。

塔山煙雲（阿里山）。1956 　紙。膠彩。73.5×96cm

此作為第十一屆省展參展之作。塔山石壁之紋理類似大小方塊層疊，堆積如塔，是阿里山之勝景。郭雪湖數次遊覽阿里山都有寫生之作。本幅從速寫資料，而略改變自然的形貌，強調塔山石塊層列之造型，並以雲海、參天古檜點出阿里山之特色。

This painting was on display during the Eleventh Provincial Exhibition. The rocks, with their piled-up, tower-like stone surface, are a popular sight in Ali Mountain. This work is based on the many sketches KUO drew during his trips there, and the natural shapes of the rocks are slightly changes to emphasize the piles of stones. The sea of clouds and tall-standing old trees are all typical of Ali Mountain.
