本田技研工業 カレンダーシリーズ（３−４月）

HONDA VERNO produced original calendar for

customers as limited edition in 1980's.

In 1983,Syd had a private exhibition in Osaka & Tokyo

titled "Car Design of 21st Century".And this calendar ordered

by HONDA just after this exhibition.

From January to December,

All 6 beautiful illustrations connected

horizontal series each 2 monthes.

バブル絶頂期、８３年に開催された
「２１世紀のカーデザイン展」をきっかけに東京での活動をスタートした
シドミード師匠。そのスタートとなったホンダのカレンダーを紹介。

このイラストは画集「オブラゴン／OBLAGON」の冒頭で紹介されている作品です。
特筆すべきは２ヶ月ごとのイラストが右へ右へと繋がっていく連作であるということ。
