under the weather, out of sorts, back to my old self again.

昨日はちと、頭痛に苦しんでました〜

時々来るんですよね〜　この頭痛。　偏頭痛ってヤツでしょうか。

A migraine?

あ、今、英次郎調べたら、「片頭痛」ってなってました。

I was feeling a little under the weather.
ちと気分が優れないでいました。

I was a bit out of sorts yesterday.
昨日はちと、調子が悪かったんです。

I was having a migraine-like headache last night.
昨夜は何か、片頭痛のような頭痛がしました。

Fortunately, I got better and now am back to my old self again.
でもお陰様で回復して、今ではまた元通り元気です。

辛いでしょうねー。でも、回復していらっしゃるなら良かったですけど。月並みですけど、どうぞ、お大事に。休むのが一番かもしれませんね。

ANNE-san＞Thank you. I appreciate your warm concern, ANNE-san. I took a good rest and now I'm back on my feet again♪^^ Summer lethargy. I have to watch out for that one.

ＴＪさん＞ありがとうございます！そうですね。Migraineに悩む女性が多いようです。大学で授業を受けていた時も、（私は教育学部でクラスメートには女性が多かったのですが）しばしば、このmigraineが、彼女達を苦しめていたようです。私の場合は．．．まだ、migraine-like で済んでいますが^^ 頭が痛くなると、気持ち悪くなってくるんですよね〜 もう、寝て治すしかないです。汗

To be more exact, mine is in TESOL (Teaching English as a Second language).
What was your concentration?

Mr.T-san＞Hi! I was just about to work on my next article and saw your comment. Thanks! Actually, I was an Education major in undergrad and then moved on to become an English major in graduate school. My concentration there was also in Teaching English as a Second Language. Wow! What a coincidence! No wonder we hit it off right off the bat♪ Did you read about those theories by Chomsky and those by Krashen and all? It's all so exciting knowing that we were once in the same field of study. Cool♪

Mr.T さんも TIGER さんも素晴らしいキャリアーをお持ちなんですね。お二方のブログを拝見したり、コメントを読ませていただくなんてなんと幸運な事でしょう。

Hello Tora san! Wow! We both majored in TESOL!
Yes, both Chomsky and Krashen are indeed two big-names in the field,
aren't they? I remember reading about Krashen's Monitor Model as well as
Chomsky's, uh…'generative grammar (?), I believe. Unfortunately, they've
all slipped out of my memory, ha ha. Seems like many moons ago!

Mr.T-san＞Thank you. That goes the same with me. Most of what I learned back in college just slipped through my fingers. I was forewarned of this. In a class I took in Education department, We read some research paper that said: most of what the students learn in college will be lost from their memory within a few years after graduation. I guess the real learning occurs in our habits and not in our memory, so．．．Maybe we don't have to feel so bad. ha ha^^汗

Mr.TとTigerさん前にも書きましたが、なんだか似たような雰囲気を感じるのはお人柄だけではなかったのね。今後ともよろしくね♪

ほぇーーー、すごい経歴ですね！尊敬。Mr.Tさんといい、Tigerさんといいスゴイお方とこんな気軽にお話しているなんて、ほんと、ネットはいいなぁ。それにしても、Tigerさん、Mr.Tさんをはじめ、皆様英語のプロの方ばかりで畏れ入ります・・・ハイ・・・生意気言わないようにしようっと。馬鹿も言わないように・・・と（これは無理か！）。
