It takes me back to my Texas days.

A pleasant memory.

I stayed in this 2-bedroom apartment I shared with a Thai roommate.

It had a large window by the door facing South,

and rays of bright sunshine showered through 

and lit up the room like outside.

There I watched MTV every day.

I would hold a bowlful of salad in one hand,

sit in front of the TV-set, 

and listen to one of these songs while munching at the bowl.
