紅谷庵 (堺）

堺市堺区中三国ヶ丘町２丁目にあります。

この付近には、方違神社・反正陵古墳・旧天王貯水池・
三国ヶ丘高等学校、等があります。
紅谷庵前の銘文には、次のような説明文がありました。

　　天王山（てんのうざん）紅谷庵（こうこくあん)(通称べにやあん）は、
大永（だいえい）年間（１５２１〜１５２７）堺大小路在住の豪商
紅屋喜平（べにやきへい）が、この地に草庵を建てたのが始まりです。
池田から乱を避けて堺に来た連歌師（れんがし）牡丹花尚柏（ぼたんかしょうはく）
をこの草庵に住まわせました。
　　その後荒廃しましたが浄土僧是得（これとく）が居住、諸宗の徒も来住。
元和（げんな）（１６１５〜１６２３）以後は堺の金屋伊右衛門の所有となり
堂宇（どうう）も朽ち荒れていましたのを、安政元年（１８５４）泉北郡
信太村（しのだむら）蔭涼寺（いんりょうじ）の住職環渓蜜雲（かんけいみつうん）
が日々多数の僧を連れ、堺付近を托鉢（たくはつ）の際、当庵の荒廃を見てこれを惜しみ、
自ら譲受け大修理をし、僧侶養成の法を講じて遂に五十余員の僧侶を安住させました。
　　しかし、環渓が武蔵世田ヶ谷豪徳寺（こうとくじ）に転住後、遺風を継ぐ者がなく、
再び廃庵となるところ、これを知った環渓が山城宇治の興聖寺（こうしょうじ）に
昇住する時、櫛屋町の土川茂平らに援助を乞い大修理を行い、明治元年（１８６８）
本堂・庫裏（くり）を建て曹洞宗（そうとうしゅう）の寺としました。

　　　　　Kokokuan (Beniyaan) Temple

Tennozan-Kokokuan Temple was originally a villa built during
the Daiei Era (1521-1527) by Kihei Beniya, a rich merchant living
on Oshoji Street in Sakai. Shohaku Botanka, ba poet, was given
refuge here from war in Ikeda (Osaka Prefecture).
The structure subsequently remained unused until Koretoku, a
priest of the Jodo sect of Buddhism, came to live there, followed
by other priests of various sects, one after another. From the
Genna Era (1615-1623), the villa was owned by Iemon Kanaya
of Sakai. The state of the building deteriorated, however, until
Mitsuun Kankei, chief priest of Inryoji Temple in Shinoda Village,
Senboku, came upon the building in 1854 during his religious
mendicancy with other priests. He took over the building and
made major repairs, restoring it as a place for priestly training; the
building was subsequently lived by some 50 priests.
When Kankei was transferred to Gotokuji Temple in Musashi-
Setagaya no one inherited the building he left behind. Kankei
learned of the fact, however, and when he was promoted to
Koshoji Temple in Uji, Yamashiro, he asked Mohei Tsuchikawa
and others in Kushiya-cho (Sakai) to provide assistance for further
major repairs. He built the main temple building and the priests'
living quarters in 1868, making this a temple of the Soto sect of
Buddhism.

ここのお坊さんに来てお仏壇に手をあわせていただいたけど、勝手に早く来て親戚も揃ってなく、他も何も用意出来てないのに勝手にお経読み始めるし、普通なら電話一本くらいかけると思うのですが、時間は守らない常識はない自分勝手相手のこと考えてないので全くおすすめしません！
皆怒っていました。
何か頼むときは他の所探したほうがいいですよ！
