「罪の意識」は、社会、両親、そして誤った宗教の教えによって、人々へ刷り込み洗脳されるものです。それは、人類を、ひどく低い意識にとどめておく主な要因です。
「生れた時に全ての人は、それぞれ異なった意識レベルを有し、知能、身体能力、性格は、生れる前に、合意されたものである」と、1970年代にアメリカで始まった人類史上初の科学的な意識研究により明らかにされました。
これらは、すべてカルマ（遺伝子）によって決められているという“真実”が明らかになります。
「罪の意識」を持つ事は、それだけで、意識の進歩を妨げるのに十分な効果を持っているため、社会の混迷に拍車をかけます。
意識の構造と人類の“真実”の姿を知ること。そして、その洗脳から解き放たれること、これこそが、戦争、原発、核兵器、貧困、差別、飢餓など、私達の生存を脅かす基本的な問題解決への第一歩となるでしょう。

これは守るべきもの同様に、懲罰的に存在していると見える神、悪魔と悪が存在しているという自己非難の根拠、そして深刻な罪の意識のレベルにあります。罪の意識は、主な精神的な構成要素で経験に基づいた行動です。社会的に組み込まれていて、否定的に仕向けられ、同様に社会、両親、そして宗教からインプットされます。その上、恥の意識は、価値のない、尽すのには不十分で愛のない、そしてとても許しがたい救済、また神より、恨まれ、価値のない虫けらの存在という風に、自分を裁いた結果が際立でしょう。それは、許すことが出来ず、希望や人間の罪のあがない（キリストの犠牲による）を超えた自己を裁くレベルです。罪の意識は、自己嫌悪、精神的、身体的な自己への処罰、自殺、自己放棄、そしてそれらの意識を、自分の中へ広げて溺れる、態度の様式を選びます。“おお神よ、如何に私が苦しんでいるのか、見るがいい”は神を、下心を持って操ろうという試みです。
罪の意識を操る自我の構造のひとつの手段は、動機と感情は、告白されず、‘外’に原因が存在しているようにみえる事による投影です。従って、正当な根拠がある恨みと擁護の対象となるものへ投影します。こころの矛盾は、まさに、そのことを嘆き悲しむ表現である単に‘罪を恨むこと’という宗教の教えに表わされています。この落とし穴は、慈悲（共感）、許すこと、そして何故、その様にするのか、実際に分からず、理解せず、そして理解能力に欠け、無知な人類、そして個々の存在を実現化（訳者注釈：動物的無力な人間と）する近道かもしれません。
Clinical
This is the level of serious guilt andself-condemnation as being, evil, and seeing God as being punitive as well asvindictive. Guilt is a learned behavior with major psychological components.There is input from society, parents, and religion, as well as negativeprogramming by social programs. Thus, shame may predominate, with consequentialself-judgment as being unworthy, undeserving, unlovable, and a worthless worm thatis hated by god and undeserving of salvation, much less forgivingness. This isthe level of self-judgment of being unforgivable and beyond or redemption.Guilt takes the form of presence, self-hatred, psychological and physicalself-punishment, suicide, self-abnegation, and propagating addition. “Oh look,God, how I suffer” becomes a subtle attempt to manipulate God.
One way the ego mechanism handles guilt isby projection, so that one’s motives and emotions are disowned and seen as being‘out there’ and therefore an object for justified hate and vindictiveness. Aspiritual paradox is represented by the religious teaching of ‘hating sin’,which merely expresses the very thing it deplores. The pitfall can bypassedwith compassion, forgiveness, and the realization that mankind and individualsare limited, ignorant, and really do not know or understand why or what theydo.
