輝ける愛の日に（尾崎紀世彦さん逝く）

尾崎紀世彦さんがなくなりました！

 

　とても残念なことです。和製トム・ジョーンズとかプレスリーとか言われましたが・・ガンには勝てなかったようです。よく迫力ある声量でトムジョーンズの日本版みたいに言われましたが・・・、彼は、R&Bからハワイアン・・ＰＯＰＳからヨーデルまで何でもこなせる歌手でした。布施明さんをライバルのように思ってたコメントも印象に残ってます。

　僕も昔はよくキーヨの真似をしました。繊細な声やファルセットの美しさ、シャウトできる歌唱力は３オクターブの音域を持つとも言われ、憧れの歌手でした。１度しか生で見ることなかったですが・・・もう一度見たかったです。

　このかがやける愛の日には確か、東京音楽祭用に出され、M・ニュベリーがグランプリでキーヨは、銅賞か銀賞だったような気がします。阿久悠、筒美京平コンビの作品とは言え、そのスケールを数割増しにしてしまうこのボーカル、　場合によっては女々しくなってしまいそうな歌詞も、意に介さないその説得力は流石のひと言です。世界の中にいても引けを取らぬ実力派・・僕にはトム・ジョーンズよりはるかに上手い歌手だったとおもいますし、アンデイウイリアムスの繊細さとトムの力強さを兼ね備え数少ない実力派でした。晩年は、ジャズなんかもさらっとこなす・・そんな尾崎さん・・いやファンはキーヨですね、寂しいです。改めてキーヨを見直す機会を頂いた気もします。

マービンとエラそしてライオネルのステージパフォーマンス

Marvin's technique and mastery of microphone placement has always fascinated me. Lionel Richie said that Marvin taught him a lot about the distance between the microphone and the mouth and was very deliberate in how he used the space within the 6 inch range he kept between it. I'd love to know more about those technical aspects of his artistry. Ella Fitzgerald had a similar mastery of the space between her mouth and the mic to create specific textures of sound.

マーヴィンの音楽におけるステージパフォーマンステクニックとマイクの扱いはいつも私を魅了してきた。ライオネル·リッチーは、後日談で、マービンは彼にマイクと口の間の距離について多くのことを教え、彼はそれの間に保た6インチの範囲内でスペースを使用し、ホールの空間と客席へ非常に意識をもって行うべきだと言った。彼の芸術性のものと技術的側面についての詳細を知りたいと思っている。ジャズの大御所エラ·フィッツジェラルドは、彼女の口と音の特定のテクスチャを作成するためのマイクの間のスペースの同様のテクニックを使っていたと言われてる。

僕が学生の頃・・ＰＯＰＣＯＮってあって・・僕の兄貴としたうボビー（男性）たちとジョイント・コンサートで歌っていた彼女たち・・・あの人は今的な番組・・ＴＶで見たけど元気そうで何よりでした。八神さんや谷山さん・世良さん達が元気で現役でやってるのって凄いな〜〜ってただタダ感心と尊敬の念で・・・。彼女たちの活躍してたころって、中津川も合歓の郷も・・ヤマハ系の施設も多くの人たちで賑わってたなーー。杉田二郎さんのライブ見る機会あったけど・・変わらないな・・。みんな若い”どうして年取らないだろう？？なんて思いながら・・・久々に聞きました。70年代フォーク・・・。ひゃ〜〜〜真理江・・可愛かったよ”
