映画「幸せの黄色いハンカチ」山田洋次　監督がこの曲をヒントに作ったという話。

嘘か誠か判りませんが、歌の内容と映画の内容が実によく似ています。

大好きな曲で、カラオケでも歌うんだぞっと。（そう、英語の歌だぞっと）（＾笑＾）

カラオケは日本の曲より、洋楽POPSが多いかも！？！

ご存じでしょうか？ニコレットラーソンという女性。

ほとんど知られていないとは思いますが、実にキュートでパンチガールです。

この「二人のデートは」昔のアイドル「ベイシティローラーズ」が歌っていましたが

彼らより数段上に位置すると思う歌いぶりです。

ハスキーで滑らかな歌声が魅力です。mmm！Pop'n Roll！

しかし彼女、実はもうこの世にはいないのです！他界しました。

数年前４５歳という若さで「脳腫瘍」にかかりました。

７歳の可愛い女の子とダンナさんを残して・・・・。

恐らくdoobieと同じ歳だと思います。（絶句）

でも彼女はこんな元気でいい曲を残してくれました。

ニコレットは長い髪が魅力、ソバージュ？のうねうねパーマ恐らくお尻の位置より

下位まで長いと思います。手入れが大変だったでしょうね！

この歌のバックアーティストはdoobie brothersのメンバーなど有名人が名を連ね

ています。ご主人は、ラスカンケルという有名ドラマー。

ＬＡ付近のアーティストのアルバムには大体参加しているようです。

彼女は天国でも元気に歌を唄っていることでしょう！！

今回は、ロックグループ・クィーンの登場です！

恐らく「ウィ・ウィル・ロック・ユー」とかはご存じと思いますが、この「'39」は

「オペラ座の夜」doobieがジャケットをまねた手書きの絵のものからの曲。

この曲の内容は、難しいのですが

船で来た開拓者がその地を切り開き、その精神が子から孫へと受け継がれていく

そのような内容と思います。

ロックではなく、フォークでもなく非常に表現しにくいですが、「さあがんばろう」

うちに秘めたる闘志を歌にした…そんな印象です。

まず、ハーモニーを聞いて下さい。素晴らしいですよ！実質３人での、多重録音

ですね。何かいいんですこの曲。明日からも頑張れそう！

実にしっとりとした歌です。

透明感があって伸びのある声、カーラの歌声がベストmuch。

デュエットはジェームステイラー、フォーク界の大御所。

ジェームスのコンサートを見ましたが、この方の声がまた素晴らしいです！

特徴的なのは、アコーディオンがこれまた素晴らしい。哀愁のある、何とも

言えないくらい情緒的です。心に染みてきます。ｼﾞﾜｰ！
