I cooked Sushi for classmates last
one of classmate asked me "Do you know which Japanese restaurant is the best in Perth?" at lunch time.
she comes from switzerland, speaks beautyful german english.
she come to australia just for study business english for 2 months before she start work, live in a appartment herself which costs her $500 per week
I think on the living of our two are worlds apart!
ummm....
"good sushi restaurant in perth? "so hard to answer it!
If I get straight to the point, Japanese restaurants are not real japanese restaurants in perth.
just look like sushi or sashim or katudon etc...
all of them rip customers off!
I dont wanna let her down by false japanese foods.
"ok, I can cook sushi for you^^"
she replied to me "oh! wounderful! ....... but is there fish?"
she said "I cant eat fish.!
oh... the most important is fish for sushi.
umm... I dont know what she wants
ok, princess
I will try to cook sushi without fish. anyway, I also cant find good sashimi in perth.
I just put egg roll, ham and cucumber in the sushi.
It wolud be better, if I could put avocado too.
it was too expensive last week in subiaco market.
I think the sushi was not too bad
I hope she will like it
then, at lunch time,
I gave the sushi for my classmates.
asian friends and south americans like my sushi.
some friends said "you can open your restaurant!" "open yoko's sushi!!"
hahaha! the guys said too good
that will happened when pigs fly!
but the swiss girl, she just tried one of sushi and did not give me feed back about sushi.
maybe, its different what taste people like or dislike between European and Asian.
I need to learn cooking for open "yoko's kitchen" in switzerland
