6月は行事が多くて学習支援活動も休みがちだけど、
前回はこれまでに教えてきた内容も忘れている状態だったので、
継続して努力してもらう必要性を痛感した。
今日の勉強は数学と英語。
数学は因数分解で以前はちゃんと自分でできていたのに、
なぜか解答方法を全く忘れてしまっているので、
あらためて最初から説明した。
英語は学校のテストの成績が悪かったと言ってきたけど、
内容を確認するとほとんど中1レベルの内容で間違いが多い。
このため再度中1に戻ってまた説明を繰り返す。
学校の先生や私の説明を聞いて、その場ではわかったというけど、
自分で努力しない限りはどうしようもないね。(;´･ω･)

There were many events in June and we had to stop activity several times.
We had confirmed the boy forgot many things what we had studied together.
Now I was reminded the necessity of continuous studying.
Today we had studied Mathematics and English.
I had been forced to explain the factorization of Math because the boy forget even though he understood before.
The boy mentioned he got very lower score then he expected.
However it was confirmed that the mistake came from 1st grade of Jr. High school.
Then I had to explain the every subject from the textbook of 1st grade that we had studied before.
Maybe, the boy was feeling he understood by the explanation of the teacher in the school and me.
But actually, the study should be made by himself.

NPO団体としての予算を確保すべく、 JICA草の根支援プログラムに応募しました。 事前に相談することが可能な規定になっているため、 あてもなく書類を作成するのではなく、 相談しながらアイディアをシェアし、さらに助言もいただくことが可能です。 そうは言っても応募書類の作成は容易な話ではないので、 それなりの日数、労力、その間の間接費もかかります。 自分一人では無理なのでNGO関係者の支援も得てやっとできました。 結果がどうなるかというよりも、 一緒に考えていただいたJICA担当者とNPOメンバーの両方に感謝です。 続く We applied to JICA grass route supportprogram to secure our own budget. According to the regulation of JICA, wewere allowed to consult the idea of activity before we submit document so thatit’s possible to share the idea and also to receive advice from JICA. But still it was not easy to make all ofdocument and it cost time, effort, and indirect expense. Actually it could be completed with thesupport of NGO members. So, I was happy and would like toappreciate the support from JICA and NPO members who shared the idea andformulate the plan much more than the result. To be continued.

この時期は行事が重なって最近は学習支援も休みがち。 今日は3週間ぶりの訪問になった。 テスト結果をもらってきたとのことだったので、 間違いヵ所の確認をした。 でも内容を見ると以前にはできていたはずの事ばかり、 なぜか勉強したことを全て忘れてしまっているような状態。(;´･ω･) 結局これまで勉強してきたことは理解も記憶も定着していなかったのか。 本人というよりも自分の学習支援方針が間違っていたのか、 自分に対してかなりがっかりした。 続く This season is the time of many event andwe could not proceed studying. But I could visit today after 3 weeks.
The boy brought the achievement ofexamination and we tried to review what was good and wrong. However, the wrong part was the things what westudied together and it seemed he forget everything what he studied. That means the understanding and memoriescould not stay in his brain. I was so disappointed not about him butabout my teachings. To be continued.
